I'll be the one laughing when it's announced... I wasn't laughing at the date part dear, especially as it has been discussed on here a few times that it is closing early so it isn't exactly news. I was more just laughing that you consider standing at the stage door and tweeting @ cast members consistantly as cast connections, but you go ahead love. Actually it has nothing to do with SD, I got told over social media privately, i also got told other news which i'm not aloud to share |

What I assume our illustrious* colleague means is... he knows someone, who knows someone who runs a fan account, and that fan account is for an actress who is quite supportive/friendly with the fan account so rumours & speculation have come from there... *And by illustrious I mean he managed to be involved in the conversation every time the main Wicked page has been locked. Before said person came along the thread never got locked and we all rubbed along nicely... Blocking said illustrious fellow works for me but then I see it all when it gets quoted  |

People keep saying this tour is cancelled, yet the Wicked website links to Zurich for tickets that can still be purchased.
Interestingly, however, the website has removed mentions of Istanbul but by going to the venues page, you can again still purchase tickets. Surely if it was cancelled they wouldn't be selling tickets anymore?

I was recently in Zurich and there's adverts everywhere for it. Given that posters are changed relatively frequently, at this moment in time the Zurich run 100% has not been cancelled.
No idea about other venues, but the producers wouldn't be chucking marketing spend at Zurich if it were already cancelled/being cancelled.

And especially since Rachel and Willemijn returned, Elphie has been so consistent compared to previous casts - Standby and understudies rarely get to go on! To come back to topic it's actually the same on the International tour, Jackie and Jodie have pretty much nailed the roles, I'm not sure Zoe George has been on at all and Natasha only a handful of times. It's great that we've been cast strong actresses who can give consistency! |

But heck I don't know her, she might love the touring life! I just feel like she's done the tour now as standby and lead, so there's not really any new challenge there for her, whereas London lead has got to be a draw, surely?
