Unfortunately not - I’m desperate for one myself! They had displayed a magnet in a little wooden frame which I thought looks pretty nice, so I bought a magnet to recreate it at home (it’s the closest I’ll get to a poster!)
There was something else on the merch list, but I can’t remember what it was. It definitely wasn’t a poster though.

Thank you, jamb0r and yoko! How disappointing. You would think a poster would be one of the easiest things for them to make (on-demand printing is now fast and cheap) and the ad agency probably had to do a portrait-mode version of the key art. And it's great free advertising for the show.

I knew it would happen sooner or later... Last night I went to see Part 1 (I had seen it twice before at the Young Vic). I sensed that something was odd when at the door I was told that there was just an interval and a five minute pause (in my mind I thought: “How strange, that is what was done for Part 2”). I checked my ticket but it said “Part 1”. Then the play started and it was clearly Part 2. I stayed but in the interval I was a bit annoyed and plotting to write a terrible email of complaint to Delfont Mackintosh for selling me a ticket for Part 1 for the wrong date. And then I looked at the ticket again and I saw that it was for Part 1, but for the 22nd of November (the day before)! Three people had checked my ticket besides me and nobody had noticed the wrong date. I did not know if I had to laugh or book a visit to the ophthalmologist. For sheer luck, despite the stalls were full, nobody came with the right ticket and asked me to leave my seat in the front row. So I stayed trying to make myself inconspicuous by assuming the colour of the seat, like a chameleon. The lessons are that: 1- you can gate-crash a show in the West End; b- I need to double-check what I have written on my calendar... P.S. Vanessa Redgrave was full of energy this time.

I think if you go to the theatre enough eventually you'll turn up on the wrong date and be let in. You were lucky, when I did this it only clicked because someone was in my seat so I checked my ticket again and noticed the date was the day before. I did the foolish thing though and owned up to the staff who told me I couldn't stay, I should have just hovered until the show started and sat in an empty seat.

Can I ask those people that have been back having seen it before at the Young Vic - does it still have that same ‘thing’ that it had the first time? I want to see Part 1 again, but I don’t know if I want to risk losing the magic that it all had the first time round...

(on the off-chance you were asking about something that happens right at the end, yes it still happens, I don't think it is quite as magical perhaps due to the staging or perhaps because it's expected, but it's certainly there and an important part of the play)

Looks like TodayTix have got another sale on for this, though no fanfare about it this time. Plenty of decent seats for the next month reduced to £15 and £25

I just returned from a trip to London where I saw 11 shows in 8 days. I saw this on Monday and Tuesday and HAD to go back to see both parts on Saturday. I was moved beyond words and truly loved everyone in the cast. My only negative was it seemed Redgrave was being fed lines because of so many strange pauses. I know she's up there and it's comendable she wants to keep working, but it was a bit jarring. Maybe I'm wrong and it's just how she speaks, she wasn't like that the other times I've seen her. I have a weird question I've not seen discussed. I'm going to spoiler it just in case. {Spoiler - click to view} In my second time seeing it became shockingly clear to me that the character of Adam quite possibly doesn't exist. He is Leo rewriting his life like Toby did with his novel/play. Adam is Leo if he were adopted and shown love. He also takes his rape story and makes it a little more of him being in control and romanticizing it more, being his choice to go into a bathhouse and let these men have sex with him.
This is also somewhat repeated with Walter having the same stealing pills story as Toby but that one was harder to connect.
If this is way off the mark, I apologize, but it really blew my mind on my second viewing. I'm hoping this indeed transfers to NYC so I can see it again and again.

I don't usually do this sort of thing but would love to get a signed programme/playtext for this show. I loved it so much.
However I'm out of town so can't go to Stage Door. Anyone got any experience of sending one in to get signed? I know this is quite a common thing on Broadway but not sure if it's accepted in the West End.

Part 2:
Having a week pass it was lovely returning to these characters and I was immediately pulled back into their lives.
Part two of this epic was no less funny or touching than part one. There was a terrific atmosphere in the theatre before the play resumed as everyone was ready for the story to be...completed?
I couldn't help but but feel the mention of 'transfer to Broadway' was fitting as this would be well received there too.
I cried again. I'd love to see it all again and will certainly be reading it now.
Lovely to see Vanessa Redgrave and thought she suited the part well.
The reviews are correct. This is, for me anyway, the best play this year and last year and likely years to come.

I should also add that it's the fastest I've ever ovated for anything. The entire stalls did at once!
Also interesting how the audience was much more vocal in response the the events in part two than part one. Lovely stuff.

I was there last night too! We'd seen the first part on the 15th and were excited to see the second. It really is just sublime. I'd actually read the script months ago, but for some reason the first part stuck in my head more than the second, so it was nearly as if I was seeing it with no knowledge of the plot. It was just wonderful and definitely deserved the standing ovation at the end.

Anyone know if front row seats are being released online for the last few weeks of the run?
The last release covered (I think) the period until the end of November, so it's getting close. I don't think I've missed a release as I've been checking periodically.

Just got out of seeing Part 2 & I don’t really know how to organise my thoughts right now! It truly feels like a privilege that I’m lucky enough to have seen this production, with this sensational cast, telling the most incredible & poignant story. I feel very lucky and very grateful.
1 note however, i’m not proud to admit this is my first experience seeing Vanessa Redgrave, and I must admit her accent sounds quite messy to me; I assume she was going for a South Carolina accent but it almost came off as Australian at points for me.
I purchased the script before the show started & I can’t wait to read through it all. I’m gonna make an effort to head back before it closes, but i probably won’t be able to afford to unless Todaytix offers another great deal.

Front row seats are up now for many dates up until 20 December.
£25 each.
There isn't a lot of availability left, so either they sold incredibly quickly (considering a few of us have been checking), they've been sold through other channels, or they're being used as day seats.
Most of the availability is weekday evenings.
I'm still holding out for some appearing for January as I just can't make the December dates work.

So if they just released the December front row seats today are we thinking they might release the January front row seats on January 1st? I am determined to be at both performances on the last day, being in the front row would be even better! I’ll do anything to avoid having to queue for day seats in (probably freezing) late January

Just on my way home from seeing Part 2 this evening.
Just wow - I have never been so moved in a theatre before. These characters are so real and the theatrical devices used to push their stories forward are so brilliantly done.
It was made extra special for it being world Aids day. One of the actors gave a moving speech and the head of Terrance Higgins Trust also spoke.
I honestly am unsure how the actors can live in that play for a 2 show day. Incredible.
Vanessa was on and whilst amazing to see her there were rather odd pauses and accent choices. But this did not detract enough from the brilliance of this show!

Saw Part 1 yesterday and thought it was incredible. Sat in Royal Circle B4 and the view was excellent for only £25. A few seats free, front row of Royal Circle had 4 free seats, I think the high prices in the centre are putting people off with it being a 2 part play.
Seeing Part 2 on Friday and thinking of stage dooring, has anyone had any experiences doing it for this play at Noel Coward?

Have booked for January. Didn’t do so before cos not a Redgrave fan I’m afraid and thought the hype was all about her. But obviously not. So six theatre outings booked for January ..already.
