Interesting cast, seems set up for a transfer to the US already though i cant see any co producer credit on the YV site. Will prob book for one of the sat all dayers.

Another 2 part job. A trend I’ve noted.

Oh my god I'm so glad I booked, I have always wanted to see Vanessa Redgrave on stage Potentially lower your expectations before heading in. She's not what she used to be, health and age, but more health affecting. Richard 3rd Almeida viewers will remember. Love that she's come back again. Just hope it's not a role that in the script requires energy.

Booked for the 12 May all dayer. La Redgrave swung it for me though the website says she is not in both parts.

I have always wanted to see Vanessa Redgrave on stage Many who have seen her on stage still want to hear her on stage. Seen her more than once. V difficult to hear. She does mumble. But up close in a place like the old Cottelsoe, she was very powerful. Can’t remember what play it was.

sat next to her during Blithe Spirit - has an infectious laugh but was very, dare i say it, feeble when walking to her seat - grabbing onto all the chairs and shuffling as one does when she is at her age.
How she is going to be on stage will be interesting

It's a tiny role, she'll be OK. Shame Paul Rhys is no longer doing it.

Ill health of late has severely lessened her once-formidable vocal chops. I would seize this opportunity to see her onstage since there may not be many more.

The blurb proclaims it to be a "hilarious and profound heartbreaker". I would have guessed the later but not the former.

I don't think I'll get the chance to see this unfortunately, but I would love to, and have a hunch it will be an enormous hit.

I was going to say I know he has some health problems but it feels like a risk even contacting him.
