Yes, it was the tour cast (minus Carly Dyer who isn't fully rehearsed yet - Harriet Watson swung on as Seymour) and they were fab! So much energy.

When did Seymour's costume change?
I didn't mind the edgier look, but didn't think the trousers were particularly flattering. It reminded me of travelling to netball matches wearing a gym skirt over our tracksuit bottoms!

I've just been and read up on the alternate costumes, which is a fab idea for this show where the girls are as important as the characters.

Apologies for double post, my caption didn't post in the last one.
Megasix from tonight's dress run! AMAZING. Sounds and looks so slick, fresh and incredible. The Broadway changes have been incorporated incredibly well, and it fits really well in the Lyric. Here's to a successful run!

As soon as I saw a Megasix go online, I wanted to see if they had updated the costumes to be in line with the Broadway production, so glad to hear that any changes from it going across the pond are now being implemented in all of the productions!

Loved it yesterday afternoon. Changes worked well and it really suits a larger theatre - why bother returning to the Arts?!. The enhanced lighting in particular looked spectacular. Queens all on great form, but Danielle Steers is a total show stealer.
Lyric has been BEAUTIFULLY refurbished. Really, really exquisite work! They leave rows between patrons in the circle, and while the stalls looked fuller, I believe all the rows have been spaced out so they're a metre apart now.

I agree.
Leave it at the LYRIC!

Six extends at the Lyric to August. Wonder when it will reopen? Has to be one of the first to.

Six extends at the Lyric to August. Wonder when it will reopen? Has to be one of the first to. It reopens 21/05 (all being well) according to the email I got on 4th March. I am hating the anticipation of waiting to see what new date they have given me (I've asked for reopening night or the following night).

Has anyone had their new dates confirmed yet? I did the form a week ago.

Miraculously, there were still a good handful of tickets left for opening night when I belatedly logged on at 10.45. I managed to get a pair of seats in Row C Dress Circle. I presumed this would be an immediate sell out!

I presumed this would be an immediate sell out! I had a look (after getting mine moved to the first Saturday) and was surprised at the availability. I was panicking that if I didn’t get mine moved early I wouldn’t get in for ages!

Booked some nice spacious front stalls seats for a double whammy with Les Mis. Didn’t think the wife would go for it but woohoo. How to spend £450 in a morning. ☠️☠️☠️☠️

Arts Theatre have been sending out emails saying that they have extended at the Lyric and won’t be returning to the Arts. Not for a while at least anyway.
