So I think we have confirmation then if Nica is opening up SIX of her theatres, chances are that SIX is going where the rumours say. I wonder what sort of price we’re looking at? For a shot of joyous adrenaline like Six I think people will pay a pretty penny, and as previously discussed, they have several casts to pick from so could ramp up the number of performances if demand was there. Bravo. I wouldn't be surprised if the Six touring cast are at The Lowry in December and January. The show has a lengthy run still going ahead at present in the Quays Theatre (capacity ~450) there but the larger Lyric Theatre (capacity ~1730) is now otherwise dark at that time so it would make sense to move Six in there.

I thought the Lyric was being refurbished? Also with the Bob Marley musical coming next year, they would be forced to leave.

The announcement tomorrow is Six transferring to the Lyric with socially distanced audiences. From November if allowed. Large rotating cast will rehearse in 'bubbles'.

I’m a little confused as to what will happen with casting - some of the London cast have said they get 5 months when the show reopens and then there will be a complete changeover in casting. Will the 12 weeks at the Lyric count toward these 5 months?

Just booked. No way to choose your seat unfortunately or see which seats they've removed, only to select the number of seats and the price point (£25 to £65 on the dates I checked). But the whole booking process is very smooth.

How when presale isn’t until Wednesday? I got an email with a priority booking link this morning because I had several tickets cancelled before. Just booked myself a ticket for November. Honestly I have no idea if I’ll be able to attend but I just had to risk it. I hope everything works out because I can’t wait to see this again!

Gold star for stevej678. ⭐ With 170 miles between them, let's hope nobody confuses one Lyric Theatre with the other!

But the whole booking process is very smooth. How when presale isn’t until Wednesday? I got sent two presale links directly from the Arts Theatre. One as a previous customer, one as I have an upcoming booking that won’t happen. Like many shows now, there are multiple levels of presales.

If anyone fancied sending me the presale link I'd be very pleased!

This is wonderful news. Not only will I be kickstarting my theatre habit once again, but it is via a venue I’ve long wanted to tick off the list!

I keep being offered Stalls Row O seat 3 for £24.95. Is this seat decent?
Can't wait to actually see this show properly from a decent seat.
First time I saw it my seat was fantastic but it got stopped 5 minutes in... Second time my seat was terrible Third time Covid cancelled!

lightinthedarkness I‘ve booked the same seat. According to theatremonkeys page it’s right behind a pillar and marked red. But since there will be no other patrons next to me due to social distancing I hope to be able to lean to the side enough to look around it. It was an impulse booking and I have no idea if I can really go so I chose the cheapest option. I’ve only seem the show from the front row before so I think I can live with one bad seat... 😉

Thanks, booking that one - same for me really, fingers crossed it all works out I keep being offered Stalls Row O seat 3 for £24.95. Is this seat decent? There's a pillar which looks to be on Row N. I’ve impulsively booked reopening night (not sure if that is the technical term but the first performance). I was so excited to see the roadshow version before that was stolen from us. I am so happy Nimax are helping make this happen!!!

For the Lyric run they will be physically removing (not just not selling) every other row of seats - so lots of legroom and easy access to seats. Then whichever seat/s you book - the seats either side will be automatically taken off-sale - so you'll have no one directly in front, behind or next to you - which gives much more flexibility than preidentifying which are single, double etc.

Booked, central stalls. If theres space on all four sides I’ll be happy as larry. Better get used to my contacts though cos I’m not steaming up for ninety minutes.
