I look forward to seeing if Disney has read any social media, chat forums, fan sites or reviews and will make changes accordingly. Lion King is a success and has made billion because it is magical, spectacular, smart, creative and works in every way. I really hope they get this right.

Musical Theatre Mash isn't extremely excited about it either. He makes a very interesting comparison saying there are two types of Disney shows: the ones that do something new (The Lion King) and on the other hand what can be referred to as Theme Park Musicals (Aladdin). I think he has a very good point here, and it seems like Frozen belongs to the latter category.

I saw this clip a while ago and really couldn't finish watching him. He's obnoxious, goes on in many rants, has no substance and just likes the sound of his own voice.

Bit early for Disney to be planning the West End production before Broadway has even opened

If half, or more, of the audience, are going to be little people, there seems little point in spending £35 million to improve legroom at Drury Lane!

Bit early for Disney to be planning the West End production before Broadway has even opened Theatre real estate is very competitive. For a mega musical to secure a theatre of that sort, they gotta plan early, especially renovation is involved. But then again, it's not like there are many other mega musicals competing for a West End venue.

Bit early for Disney to be planning the West End production before Broadway has even opened You'd be surprised! Many producers plan early, to get the venues they want. Disney even has regional venues already booked into 2021 for one of their tours.

I think Hamilton were scouting potential West End venues not long after it opened on Broadway although I wouldn't be surprised if Cameron had already offered the VP even before Billy Elliot closed. I imagine with Frozen, Disney want a similar sized venue to the St James and Drury Lane is a contender but I imagine other theatre owners would be interested.

Yes the original Wicked and Lion King tours were pencilled in years in advance, same with Matilda. Even though it never happened Les Mis was pencilled in for its 30th anniversary tour quite far in advance

More like a 35th anniversary tour!

Oh god please let my daughters stay away from the Frozen fever. We are finally Let it go-free in this house. (I mean, it could be a fantastic show and everything. But I've been listening to let it go for years now.)

Oh. And after that big article about all the 'rejected' artworks and why they went with the one they went with. I prefer the lighter blue of the previous artwork, and the faces & bodies in the snowflake. Not a fan of the fact that Elsa is depicted as a cartoon, either. But I'm not as bothered as I'm making it sound. Any chance this is just the OBCR artwork? Haha. The website it still using the original!

I also don't like it, and think it's weird Elsa is a cartoon again. But just like you, and as one Catherine Tate might say, I can't be bothered.

I'm almost certain that's fake, there's a bogus twitter account that has been using that artwork for some time now.
