You can keep the Beatles, the Stones, The Who - seeing The Flaming Lips live is all you need - good night people 😛.

Answering for yesterday...had a couple of productive meetings in the day, then went to a reading of a play of mine. Which was brilliant and gave me exactly what I needed as a writer to work on it and take it forwards
Added bonus. Do we all remember the story of the drama school student who ended up in Into the Woods? Well it was only bloody well her I'd been working with and didn't know. Me and a fellow Musicals nerd in the cast were very not chilll on hearing that story.
And today I'm off for coffee with our very own Mallardo!

I love magic shows but didn’t really enjoy P&T when I saw them in Vegas. Too much patter and not enough business. It also convinced me that what I like best is close up magic not the big illusions. So each to their own.
I've several times hired a magician for company events. Pushed the boat out once for a founder of the company's leaving do. Got several recommendations for the act.
His speciality was cutting up a box containing the guest of honour, with a CHAINSAW.
All was going well, he came early and we hid the ‘box’ from sight as it was to be a surprise. But as our guest arrived he whispered he couldn’t go ahead with it! When I enquired why, he pointed out that the guest had brought his young children and he didn’t want to traumatise them! Sadly never got to see the highlight.
Anyone got a link for MagicCircle showcases?

Another day. Another primary school interview Another day......well, you get the drift... This time I got interviewed by a coven of 10 year olds. "Do you like children?" "Love'em! Especially with chips and ketchup!"

Spent the morning waiting for a classic Porsche that I own be delivered from Devon. It's a 1954 pre A 356 if that means anything to you. I've owned it since 1987 but only last year had it fully restored to concours standard. It was being serviced by the guy that restored it. Although the restoration cost me silly money I now really love owning it. Only thing is, because it's pretty rare, I'm totally neurotic about leaving it anywhere for longer than about two seconds.

Lovely day which began with coffee with our very own Mallardo in Foyles, who was then replaced by one of the actors who was in my play yesterday (felt like the queen sitting and receiving visitors) and we had a debrief (and bitch) then I poodled up to Hampstead where immediately Latcomer found me, saw Gloria, and now I'm on my way back to Cardiff a bit exhausted!

Great seeing you again, Em. You were very patient with me as I grilled you on the subtleties and subtexts of Angels In America. I didn't even mind being "replaced" by an actor - it's the story my life. Hopefully, I made a dignified exit.

Pity you didn't stick around an hear my accent get progressively more Welsh, which is alway good fora laugh! And I NEVER mind being grilled about Angels!

I did turn the heating on earlier. Whoops. *Adjusts arms in slanket* Oh I love that someone's wimped out before me! Disclaimer. That was a joke. I would never, ever sit under a slanket.
I use the labrador.

Is anyone else having problems with strange pages suddenly coming up on screen while using the board? I've just had it happen for the 3rd time since Sunday. The first 2 times my antivirus software popped up saying it had blocked something. I haven't had it happen on any other website so I'm wondering if something is trying to attack the board.

Does it match your lovely boots? Same colour as Liz Lemon's here. I wanted it because of her, but also the colour is called 'Limoges,' and I used to live in Limoges so I thought I could live in a Limoges Slanket.

"Do you like children?" "Love'em! Especially with chips and ketchup!" "Yes, but I can never finish a whole one." (Trust me, doesn't work on a first date, really). Oh I don't know depends on your audience

Yes, it's happened to me too, and only with this website.

Don't worry about it, and when the box pops up asking for your credit card details go right ahead and don't forget the 3 digit code.
@theatremonkey get the holiday brochures out! 😬
Seriously, I don't get this on iOS. maybe it's something to do with the way your browser is handling the new ads?

A screenshot would help. (Edited to remove everything incriminating or embarrassing, of course.)
