It seems my seats are still in the basked, which is great. But the payment page keeps loading. So nerve wrecking! What was availability like at time of selection? There was availability for all pwc dates, but very few tickets for the Saturday performance.

Can't believe the OV have managed to screw up another ticket sale for the same show.
Maybe they just wanted to be able to say that Groundhog Day was an immersive experience from start to finish?

Three devices - am queuing in the 4000s for each one despite entering the virtual queue at staggered intervals (1.5 hours before, 1 hour before, 30 mins before). Guess it's totally random, though am envious of the folk who were number 22, 300 and odd etc. Fortunatey I booked for the Saturday performance and fancied the Thursday on a PwC ticket - doubt it will happen. At least we know the show is popular...!

Landed 400ish as best queue position and just go through after the pause.
Still ok availability for Mon 22nd - didn't check the others in detail but Saturday and Wednesday appearing as limited.
As a heads up, I got kicked from card processing page back to the queue with no confirmation page and didn't think it had gone through but have just received email confirmation.

The payment system is still failing, but I did manage to purchase my tickets by using an old voucher code I had!

Mine has dropped out twice with over 2,000 people in front of me and over an hours wait.
I'm busy. I don't have time to be phaffing about!

You should re-enter the queue at the same point if your connection drops. I'm still at 3,500 ahead of me in the queue. This is going to sound ultra churlish, but I question the sense of Old Vic blanket emailing people with reminders for the PwC tickets. If it really matters, surely people should set themselves a reminder of the date/time. Of course, if I was number 27 in the queue I probably wouldn't care! :-)

Patience got rewarded. I was 4500th in the queue and I managed to get three tickets for Saturday 20th as I wanted.

Well blow me down - I got the last two stalls seats (rear stalls one behind the other) for the Wednesday evening. While still managing to walk the dog, etc. Think I'll make chocolate chip cookies to celebrate!

I got lucky with my queue number and was through the queue within a couple of minutes but the website was instantly broken. Wouldn't let me pay, and then after trying for a while eventually my account got flagged for 'suspicious activity' I guess because I was just repeatedly trying to book over and over again. I messaged the old vic on facebook with a screenshot of the error, they then passed my details to the box office team who secured a couple of seats for me (premium central seats for the first performance) and then they called me and allowed me to pay over the phone. VERY happy with the service from the old vic box office team!

Obviously they brought this forward so I’m very glad for the email.

I too was taken by surprise that it was today for the PWC preview tickets!

So looking forward to returning to this show!!

I stand corrected about the dates - I think I had a reminder for 28th which is why i was surprised. Anybody wonder if they're messing with us a little? A bit of Groundhog Day minxing going on? In fairness to the Old Vic, whilst I have been flitting around, stalls seats at £10 have been getting added - mostly singles though a row of 5 and some pairs also appeared.
Edit: I've a hunch there might be a second wave of PwC tickets for the remaining previews (like there were for A Christmas Carol). Keep your eyes peeled for any emails/texts over the next week or so.

Didn't see the email until 12.11, and (at 16.20) am 948 in the queue, with over 30 mins to go. However, I bloody loved this show last time (was it 5 or 6 visits?) and had already booked, booked, booked etc ...

I realise there’ll be nothing left when I get there but thix is an absolute farce. I’ve gone from 58 minutes to 2 minutes back to 45 minutes over and over again. Shambles.
