I must be missing something here. I was at screaming point with frustration watching the film, leaving me with no wish whatsoever to see the show, but everybody's raving about it!

I still remember the day my mum said "It was an okay film, but it was a bit repetitive" 🤣🤣🤣

I've never seen the film either. I only booked to see the show towards the end of the previous run, after reading loads of raves about it on here. I enjoyed it more than I expected to. Given Andy Karl is doing it again, I'll go & see it again as long as I can get a ticket that doesn't cost a fortune.

I must be missing something here. I was at screaming point with frustration watching the film, leaving me with no wish whatsoever to see the show, but everybody's raving about it! Understandable. I only watched the film because of Harold Ramis' writing and directing, plus reading about the positive reception the film got as a talking point across a variety of faiths. I'm NOT a fan of Bill Murray, but did enjoy seeing the eventual transformation. This will fall into my maybe list...tell me we don't have to listen to "I Got You Babe" every few minutes...

I remember enjoying it overall and loving the set/staging and Andy Kahl but I don't remember much else from it to be honest.

The film was never my favourite - I re-watched it after seeing the show and came to the conclusion that it works better as a musical.

The film was never my favourite - I re-watched it after seeing the show and came to the conclusion that it works better as a musical. Groundhog Day as a film had always been a personal favorite. And I was excited when I heard it was becoming a musical in 2015... One of my regrets was letting the negative reception it received here talk me out of going and seeing it for myself (that and when I was ready to give it a shot, I believe Andy Karl was out and I really didn't want to pay the ticket price on a coin-flip of a show and understudy) having seen some clips online since I realize it was a missed opportunity. If Aspects of Love turns out to be a revival worthy of taking a trans-atlantic flight, I will definitely take the oppotunity to see Andy in this

Well multiple trips booked for this one. I loved it last time and regretted not booking more than once. Not letting that happen again

Me too. Seems to already be selling well too! And that’s just on all of the advance booking. I’ll be straight on when I can on Monday. Wonder if it’ll be busy enough for a queuing system.

Anyone with advance booking who can tell us ticket prices? Sure - previews are between £13 and £70, then £13 - £150 outside of previews. The bulk of stalls seats are £85 with 1/4 of remaining sears at premium £150 and rear stalls at £50. 3/4 dress circle seats are £22 - £50. Plenty of availability - dress circle slips are great value.

This is one I definitely want to see again, but from memory the pricing is a lot different to 2016!
I don’t know whether to get a ticket when general booking opens and guarantee a not-very-good seat or try to get a possibly better PWC ticket when they go on sale, but risk missing it if it sells out before then or I can’t get a PWC ticket (anyone know if there will be any seats left after the PWC tickets sell out? Not quite sure how that all works…)

I’m tempted to book the first preview again, and risk it being cancelled. Feel like I’ve been in this ride since the start.

Previews are very well priced - if you absolutely want to go, I'd book one of them. If you're only wanting one ticket then I think you'll be okay with the PwC offer. I booked on Friday and there was a queue to access the site. Looking now, there are plenty of tickets still - if you're on a budget, then dress circle slips look like excellent value - closest view without spending megamoney on premium stalls. Also, I saw this show from the Baylis Circle and it was still excellent!

I’ve booked for the preview on the 20th May, front of stalls at £70 each and then same again on the final performance at £85 each with the absolute hope that Tim Minchin will be there announcing a WE transfer.
