Ah well fair enough to him for apologising. And if it was during a live event rather than a 'proper' interview I can see how it could have been taken wrongly (see also Andrew Garfield's platform the other week)
I retract my offer to wander over to BBC Wales and knock some sense into him.

The 'out of context' line is the go to excuse in cases like this. It is used so much that it always makes me doubt the person a tiny bit. Although that's sometimes true you also need to bear in mind that on the Internet there are loads of people who are just itching to find something they can portray in the worst possible light so they can crow about what fine and right-thinking citizens they are in pointing it out. |

Yeah and given he's not got a 'track record' of saying things like this I always think giving someone the benefit of the doubt in the first instance is fair. Christ I think I even gave CYNTHIA the benefit of the doubt initially saying 'well we all have bad days'...
Anyway I can go to 'Crazy for You' in good conscience. And not feel the need to trip up Tom if I see him mooching around the shops at lunchtime along with the rest of the Casualty lot (Charlie aside he's the only one I'd recognise)

Tom is doing UK Tour of Crazy For You well into 2018 and Summer Strallen is doing Young Frankenstein so they are tied up at the moment if Top Hat did go to Broadway.

I mean, yes, technically a musician is not a member of the cast. But the musicians are a damn sight closer to and significantly more affected by everything that's happened to the Great Comet than Cynthia herself, so why she's set herself up as a sort of spokesperson only to be so dismissive of the drummer is completely beyond me.

Heaven love her, I love how she just repeats the same message over and over again to suggest that if you disagree with her or call her out on something she's said then you're just completely wrong and she's absolutely right and if you keep disagreeing with her then she'll simply block you or her supporters end up harassing you.
One would think that she was the President of the United States . . . .
