That makes me like her a lot less :/

Meh, performers are important, but you're hardly a brain surgeon darling...

Because while I agree that performers should not be made fun of (because no profession should), performing is also a. Probably the most validated profession there (they literraly get clapped and cheered for at the end of a days work- every time) and b. A very sought after profession. Yes they are rejected alot- news flash, that happens in other fields too... maybe not in audition form- but Ive had to fight for jobs and pay before, others do it every day too.

They are so fotunate to be doing something they love, for gods sake why cant these silly social media rants be gone already.
And no- not every piece Im humming was written by a performer, some are creators who dont perform and are just as good if not better.
And no, not every actir can make me listen without saying a word- very few can, and it more often then depends on the writing of the scene.

It just reeks of someone thinking so highly of themeselves and their proffession- why the need to shout it on social media? Why is she not at peace with herself and what she does?
Performers know they are loved- they are tweeted at by fans non stop, they just choose to adress the one off troll or hater- and it puts me off..

Also- if there were no paying audience, she would not be getting payed.. that's how economy works, the fact that her check is signed by a producer doesn't mean it's not the audience's money.

Also-"The difference between me and you is, I get to help you escape, I get to help you work through your issues" Im mean, does she know what therapists and doctors and social workers and teachers and so many other people do....
Come on the more I read it the uglier it gets, Im just going to stop now

And eating is a major issue he certainly helps me get through

I'm a huge lover of Cynthia and I usually hate seeing actor-bashing, but seeing posts like hers just makes me think "This is the reason why some people don't like actors!!". So cringey and overly self-important (a smidge of self-importance is required to be an actor I think! Even the most humble of ones...)

Fingers crossed it's not Saturday as that's the only night I'm already booked! Any other night would be ideal! I think there's a chance it'll be a late evening (maybe 10pm-ish) start - really depends what venue she's gone for.

Sounds as if she's heading back to the States for a while after this week - and Widows filming will probably keep her there into early summer at least.  Doesn't sound as if she's planning another musical theatre role in London any time soon sadly...I keep hoping someone will decide to do Aida over here and ask her to do it!
