One question martello736 , how did she even see that Tweet? Was she following you? It's the quote tweeting that I really find problematic. If she just replied to them it wouldn't be OK but it would be better. By now, she knows that her minion-followers will jump to her defence if she uses quote-tweeting. I'd tagged her by accident, when you start typing someone's name sometimes a list of Twitter @ options start coming up and I'd written "Cynthia Erivo" and it had corrected to "@cynthiaerivo", I didn't realise she'd been tagged until she quoted me and I thought "well how on earth did she see that!?" Oh right. That's annoying.

After the rants I wouldn't put it past her to search for her name to see where people are talking about her.
Carrie Hope Fletcher replied to me once over five tweets as to why she didn't do stage door one evening. I was in the pub behind the theatre and tweeted that there were lots of disappointed fans when a certain Eponine didn't come out. That was it - Eponine was the only name I used and she found me (and her fans did too!)

Noel-from-Hearsay once found me via an oblique reply to another friend not even about his show directly! that's some next level twitter stalking/time on your hands actors!!
(But yes I feel like certain actors have numerous twitter alerts set up for ANY related mention)

Yes and ironically it was later that evening about 11:30pm so she clearly had time to kill!

Ah it was a few years ago when she was in Les Mis and was 11:30pm at night when she was too busy to come out via stage door after the show!

Also ignore me as I just realised you were talking about Carrie and not Cynthia. Senior moment. Sorry.

She has a beautiful tone when she sings, but the tone in which she speaks to people is shocking!
Its really put me off her.

Ooh she's actually said something I agree with today she's told Tom "men are the bread winners" Chambers to 'shut up' Wonder if he's got a fan base rabid enough to take her on?

Oh she didn't copy him in it was a reference to the article going around with the quote from him saying 'Me man me bread winner' (I may be paraphrasing)

It'd be amusing if it turned out he'd actually won some bread.

The 'out of context' line is the go to excuse in cases like this. It is used so much that it always makes me doubt the person a tiny bit. At least he has apologised and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt although there always will be a niggling doubt about him now.
