Yes. I'm not fussed if we have a politician, and would probably prefer not to have one. Have we got any newsreaders yet? If there's an announcement on Good Morning Britain, it could be Charlotte Hawkins or Sean Fletcher (he seems to be moving more to the BBC). I would really hope Piers Morgan wouldn't get a look in.

A few more names have cropped up overnight - Debbie McGee, Charlotte Hawkins, Chizzy Akudolu (Holby City actress). Only Charlotte has confirmed her participation, live on GMB, but the other two have been revealed by tabloids, presumably ignoring the embargo on releasing names to the public! There's three more to go - apparently to be revealed on The One Show - and the Sun/Mirror etc appear to be allowing the BBC to have this reveal tonight!

Charlotte's a good signing, - I was just relieved it wasn't Jeremy Vile when I turned on this morning! I think there are still 4 more, going by the tweet BBC sent out last night.
Still no sports people.

Personally I much prefer the Morgan/Reid sparring that goes on on morning telly, and I also enjoy Piers Morgan's rants but, like most people, don't really sit down and watch it. |

This may be a bit left-field, but what about Miranda Hart? We know she's a superfan, and she's finished with Annie by mid-September. It could almost have been planned!
If not this year, she will do it one year. I'd put money on it.

They really shouldn't be playing too much on her Holby connection considering they've already got a Holby cast member on the lineup. It just makes it seem a bit lazy. |
