I've read that the couples don't usually do any dances from Halloween week again in the final because of the makeup etc. so maybe the judges wont have chosen Danny to redo the Foxtrot? That's not true, they've done theme week dances in the final in the past - Chelsee & Pasha did their Shrek-themed jive from movie week, but instead of green make-up Pasha just wore the ogre ears. If Danny & Oti do have the Foxtrot then they'll wear the costumes but not the make-up. I think their judges' choice must be either Foxtrot (which I suspect it will be), Quickstep or Viennese Waltz (though given their AS was Viennese-based I doubt it's that). Maybe they just don't repeat from Halloween week then? With the music etc. usually being Halloween themed as well. I have a feeling it isn't the Foxtrot as Danny said he was really happy with the choice and if I remember he didn't like the Foxtrot even before making the mistake. Unless he's just trying to be diplomatic.

Final tonight - can't wait!!
So hoping Danny wins! I've got a weird feeling that Louise might win but I really hope she doesn't. I read in the paper today that the judges secretly want Louise to win over Danny as Danny 'goes against the strictly story' of not coming from a dance background - he's said time and time again how he didn't do dance professionally when he was younger!!

Louise is on the cover of two newspapers. I think the momentum is (sadly) with her.
I read somewhere (might've been here) that she judged one of the guys who now choreographs on Strictly when she was a judge in So You Think You Can Dance.
I guess because she's married to a footballer makes her more interesting for the tabloids. Shame she doesn't make any of her dances so interesting.

I'm ruling Ore out as I just don't think he is liked by the public. Anytime that he has been middle of the leaderboard then he has been in the Bottom Two.
That leaves Louise and Danny.
For me, Danny has been the stand-out of this series and many others. Only Kara Tointon has wowed me as consistently week on week. I do think that he is popular and being in the vote-off last week was viewers' complacency in assuming that he was safe. I think that will give him a boost in votes this week.
I agree with other posters that Louise is getting a lot of coverage. She has a relatively high profile and has been a 'name' for the last 20 years or so. I also feel that BBC producers, the media and Louise herself are playing up her 'journey'- she has been saying all week that she felt like quitting, didn't feel confident at the start etc. and people love a journey, rather than Danny who has been outstanding from the start.
A Louise win would rank as one of my least favourites (along with Darren Gough and Abbey Clancy). I have enjoyed a few of her dances but feel that she is very one note and has never excelled in Latin, be it the Argentine Tango or last week's Samba (which I thought was week 3 standard at best). I felt that every criticism they used against Claudia was actually applicable to Louise- lack of passion, no storytelling...
I think it all comes down to show dance. I get the impression that Danny's will be stunning but Louise's will tug at the heartstrings and that might just win it for her.

This is the first time in ages that I actually really don't mind who wins. Louise may be pretty boring but she totally deserves to be there, and has danced wonderfully throughout the series, I am a HUGE fan of Ore, especially coming into Strictly as a total dance novice, and a couple of hus routines really have been series highlights, and even Danny who, even though he claims his musical credits mean nothing when it comes to dancing still trained at ArtsEd for goodness sake, is obviously technically the best dancer and has produced some stunning routines (thanks to Oti) and would also be a totally deserved winner.
With some hopefully great routines tonight, I think it's gonna be a great night either way for me!!

I would disagree that Louise deserves to be there after her semi-final performance, but maybe if you look at her overall you could justify it.
Don't forget they will no doubt turn up the Kevin 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride' nonsense to vomit-inducing levels.

Setting my expectations low now and predicting a Louise win. I agree that Ore doesn't seem to have the popularity with the viewers (definitely think he would have been bottom two last week if he hadn't have been top of the leaderboard). I would probably think Danny and Louise are similar levels of popularity, but I fully expect the judges to push a Louise win and there are a lot of people that vote based on who they think is the nicest/most relatable. However, I do think most of Claudia's voters will now go over to Danny, as they seem to have a similar fanbase and those who voted for Claudia would have known she was in danger and thought Danny wasn't. Fingers crossed for Danny and Oti.

Anyone but Danny winning would be wrong. He is the best dancer and so should win. However we know it is not a dance competition - it is light entertainment.
Danny has been outstanding throughout - he has skills that often make it easy to forget that he hasn't been dancing ballroom and latin all his life. Yes, he has some dance training in his background - but that doesn't matter. He is far and away the best male dancer for many years of SCD.
Louise has zero personality and an annoying partner. Ore just isn't as good as his marks would lead you to believe.
Danny should win. If he doesn't, the show will lose credibility. But that has happened before and may well happen again. But I hope not.

I'm predicting a protected, drawn out show whilst the votes are counted.

Danny and Oti in their Quickstep outfits, YAY. And Ore and Joanne American Smooth.

Ore - meh. His frame was worse than first time round.
Louise - there was no intent in her dancing. It was all just going through the motions. The only time she moved with any purpose was in the travelling sections but the rest was just dull. She is dead behind the eyes - no connection.

Think all three were worse than the first time round. Maybe the pressure of having three dances to do in one week.

Even with mistakes, Danny still dances better. That is what is so frustrating about this process.

Very poor show dance to a show tune - a lot of posing and jumping and relatively little actual dance content. They were out of time with the leaps between the levels. Clumsy and over fussy

How could Danny get called out on mistakes and only get 36?! He was great and Louise got 38?! What? ?

Hated that Showdance. Way too much faffing on the drums.

Ore's show dance was an absolute winner. Clever, subtle references to their own dances and other famous dances (Nicholas Brothers.) Great.

Louise proving that Claudia should be in the final instead...
Enjoyed Ore's Show Dance.

I got bored during Louise's showdance. There was nothing to keep my interest.
Her facial expressions never really match the mood of the dance - and without that it is just mechanical and lifeless.

Yes her cheesy grin in that dance was incredibly distracting considering the music and tone.

That dance really meant something. Danced with real passion and commitment. Danny proved that he is the best dancer this show has had in years. Probably ever.

Danny and Ore both had outstanding show dances. Louise - not so much.
