I would hate (not really hate - but you know what I mean) for Stacey to win - not because of her but because of the smug look on Kevin's face that would go on for years.
I am still thinking that the Sugglife supporters might swing it for him at the end - as it all comes down to the public vote in the end.

Full marks to Bruno who stepped up to the plate and clarified the result! Shirley Ballas is useless - totally out of her depth - it's not the first time she has got the names wrong and of course spoiled any tension with the result of the lindyhoppathon nonsense by announcing the winner first instead of in reverse order! Craig thought it was hilarious and was clearly delighted at her misfortune!!
An odd show tonight - I felt they were all hung over from Blackpool! Lauren was dreadful and should have gone weeks ago - at least she received an honest score for once. But a huge amount of over marking. Charles was overmarked - his dance was dreadful and Joe's "dance" was hugely over marked - no way was that routine a 10. Craig, as ever, the only honest score!

I am out having breakfast and there are a couple of ladies on the table next to me talking about Strictly saying how much they love Stacey Dooley. I think she might have it in the bag unless Joe's online fan army stop her.

Plus they have done the live arena shows too. Bruno got the US gig with DWTS but Craig directs the arena tour so that balances out. I could imagine Craig being fairly waspish off screen if someone annoys him and whilst Bruno may seem like fun, he has his Italian temperament and if provoked I could see him really blowing. But honestly I think they do play off the "Two bickering old queens" personas when they want to and any jokes are good humoured ribbing as they do respect each other and why rock the golden goose. |

They used to do the Thon events as an elimination and good old Len would hold up a paddle saying who was out. Maybe it was mostly his decisions. When they have collated results afterwards - I think it was last year Tess asked Bruno about his thoughts on the dance when he was still discussing the results and he had to stop to talk to her! Craig might have given her short shrift! Shirley I think it was an honest mistake but to mix up a couple where one guy is black with a couple where the other girl has flame red hair is a glaring mistake. But she is elderly so maybe we go gentle on her. |

She wasn't one of the stars, just a good jobbing musical actress in a smallish role. She felt he shared his vision of the show well with the performers, knew his stuff and was personally kind to her. So that's left me very well-disposed towards him - and his marking is often accurate.

A friend of mine did panto with him the other year and said he was delightful to work with. The whole company and crew loved him. One evening after the show he took the entire company and crew out for pizzas and drinks!

I don't think she is getting votes for the quality of her dance or the level of her performance. I also don't think she has shown much improvement in recent weeks.
I can't explain her support - unless there are a lot of AJ fans who want to keep him in.
