Although I really like Vito, I actually thought he out-danced Fleur with all of those high kicks

I saw this on Tuesday night and just loved it! Seriously good! Not everyones cup of tea, but for me- wow!
I really didn't expect to have enjoyed this as much as i did.
I have been thinking about it since.
I also have the Broadway cast recording and to see the songs in context, the whole thing made sense.
I loved both the roller skating scene and the scene where they're on the park bench talking about fishing.
This stirred emotion, had comedy and quite beautiful. It made the think how it is that a collective group of musicians- and individuals can have such an effect on the people living in a small town where nothing much happens.
Generally speaking I'm not a fan of actor/musicians but this worked.
I think a turn trip in the £10 standing area might be in order.

Although I am politically aware, I wouldn't consider myself a political person and certainly wouldn't express my political opinions but even I can see what a disaster this is!

Have they cast Chistery- the devil monkey yet? Or Dr. Dillamond?
I wonder if we'll see either Dorothy or Toto- in any format?

I pray she’s up there as Mrs. Lovett teaching The Queen how to bake the worst pies in London.
What a corse enterprise, popping pussies into pies!

Just a lille aside, but can i ask, is this the first time Andrew Rannells has performed in a show in London? I think so, yes. He may have done concerts but not a show (I think). That's what i thought, thus my questioning. I hope he enjoys his time here

There are loads of tiny things I loved as well — the "lemons (?) and apples and pears, oh my!" is the only one I can remember at the moment, but there were definitely more. There is that classic Mdm. Horrible line to Elphabah when she's singing 'I'm not that girl' under the bright and its raining 'Be careful Dear- we don't want you getting wet!" Elphabah to Dorothy "Who steals a dead woman's shoes? Where were you raised, in barn?" Glinda to Dr. Dillomond "Can't you just teach us about history? Instead of just going on and on about the past?" And finally Glinda referring to him as the dog Doddo

I appreciate were still only in early days and are now going into week 3 of the completion but has everyone stated assigning the favourite couples yet? The ones you're will in on, or the ones that you're just tolerating until they're voted off?

I like that Ritchie & Givanni were dancing on that platform in front of the Judges. I felt like they spent more time not dancing than dancing. you know what? Whilst I don't necessarily disagree with you, then that falls on Giovanni. He's the pro, not Ritchie

A few thoughts on last nights show,
Firstly I though the Encanto sequence was extremely well done.
Shirley was gladly back on form.
With that hair I thought Motsi looked a muse-either one from the Hercules animation or one of the sisters from Xanadu.
Thank god Matt Goss lost the hat!
Although not such a fan if the routine itself, I like that Ritchie & Givanni were dancing on that platform in front of the Judges.
Whilst I appreciate that this was the intention, with that dress and wig, Ellie could have been Cher!
I think this was Kym Marsh's best dance to date.
With that wig, I though Fleur looked so completely different. Possible because I am so used to seeing her with all that hair. Sh also looked remarkable buxom!
Tony Adams- there's a point where people are laughing with you, but at you
Helen Skelton and Gorka was very well done.
The problem with Tyler and Dianne's dace was that as great as it was(and it really was) was the fact that it was so fast! To really get all of it you' have ro re-watch it!
Finally, Jade Adams- kudos to her. She's a big girl and she had the guts to appear on national television in a leotard against someone with significantly different body shape and helps her own. Respect

Richie and Fleur had to dance off. The judges saved Fleur. Richie was eliminated! Great result! Giovanni must be thrilled to be free of that idiot As much as I find Richie annoying, it was a shame that he was eliminated over the footballer. And as I’ve stated in one of my previous posts, the more I’m seeing Vito, the more I’m liking him so to see him go so soon would be a shame. I also feel that he has made a wonderful connection with Fluer.

I will be there on the Saturday.
Other than my entrance into the event, I have nothing booked, and at this stage, don't want to.
Everybody has seen what I look like from my profile pic.
If you see me wondering around with a white ABBA Tote bag, feel free to say hello- Tryst me, you'll recognise me before I recognise you.

Rich,
Firstly, welcome to the board.
Personally, I am not a fan of streaming/on-demand services. I'm just not.
That said, I guess it depends on the musical and how well it's been captured on film.

An enjoyable show last night.
Well done with the costumes.
Matt Goss needs to ditch the hat.
I thought several celebrities improved dramatically from last week- clear being the first show the nerves got the better of them.
Although she was spot on with regards to foot placement, demonstrations, etc I though that (unusually) Shirley was all over the place last night.
