Not a fan of this show, saw in the west end and just hated it however thanks for reminding me of the Arts school - I'm off to see 'Disney's Beauty and the Beast' which haven't seen since 2006 on Broadway!!

Off to Bridewell theatre tomorrow eve to see first play of this year 'Pornography' and the final show (Sunday matinee) of 'Legally Blonde' at 'Upstairs at the Gatehouse', should be then heading to the Theatre Cafe for the 'Cool Rider' vinyl launch celebration.
Thinking of 'Rent' at 2Brewers (Clapham) on Sat matinee!

My funniest moment is still sitting in Kara's (Maria on the recent 'The Sound of Music Live' ITV production) seat by mistake at 'Rent Remixed'.
She was still in 'Eastenders' as 'Dawn' I believe at the time!!
Oh and releasing it was Micheal Xiaver in the restroom at Southwark Playhouse for 'Carrie'!!

Can't wait for others to be fully on board here!!
I've moved up from the ex and look forward to our stagey community to continue and prosper.

I must seek out the 'Someday' Germany cast recording with the choir, it sounds wonderful on the USA cast recording.
I love how stagey they have turned it from being the single from pop r'n'b group'Eternal'. If you aren't familiar with it, you would never guess this was a pop single in the charts.

Wondering if anyone is going along to the vinyl release party for ‘Cool Rider’ cast recording on Sunday evening (from 6pm) at the Theatre Café? They must have an drinks license because there will be a bar on-site for this event.
I’m hoping to drag along my two friends after we go to the closing matinee of ‘Legally Blonde’ at Upstairs up at the Gatehouse, like the creatives that were involved in this project and I was a funder of the Kickstarter…with only luck Aaron Sidwell may be in attendance!!

Went to the show last night with 4 friends (Get into London theatre deal) and boy did I not stop smiling from start to finish (my 3rd time seeing the show)!
It’s one of those shows I totally forgive that the book is fairly light, it’s a little silly and that the majority of the plot is based around shoehorning in the ABBA songs but it has a lovely heart and it’s one of those warm hugs of a show!
The strongest cast I saw was back in October 2012 and whilst I wasn’t wowed by its current cast but they are doing a fine job. It was nice to see Gabriella in a new light as ‘Sophie’ then the bitch ‘Chris in ‘Carrie’ although it was odd hearing her in her northern accent and not American!
Now I must say though that bad behaviour from its audience seems to attract here, we had very excitable girls behind us. They spoke all through the overture but when this continued into a minute into the show I turned around gave a glare and told them to be quiet – sorry I am not very British here but if I didn’t say anything it would annoy me either more and if you don’t say anything they just think their behaviour is acceptable.
This did seem to keep them quiet after that although of course they got all screaming when the boys took off their clothes, came wading in wetsuits – to be honest I don’t blame them, may have gave a whoop myself ;-) In ‘Knowing me, knowing you’ a woman in front just broke into song for that particular song and every now and then people across the theatre sing along to a little part of a song – I can totally see why seem people will not see this show because of these reasons. I am pretty good (having told those girls off right at the start!) and at least it did mean that the dancing was very fun in the Dress Circle at the end!

I never did quite get my head round the negative levels that this show reach on the board but I was on the side of really enjoyed and it (have seen twice).
I knew it would never be a long runner but I am feeling a little disheartened we lose this show and gain ‘Guys and Dolls’ in its place but I am glad this show got a cast recording and played on the West-End for 10 months (yes I am aware it was heavily discounted throughout it’s entire run– both times I was in top priced seats at £15 and didn’t sell to the masses).
I am tempted to go a 3rd, I do love a last night but then again so many deals to be had before that I may go on one of them instead!

I am looking forward to this, taking my stepmother as a Christmas present on the 9th February.
Following advice from good self’s on here (ok so in our old home!) I went and booked us onto the on-stage sofa’s. I love the concept and being up in the action, with it pure songs rather than a storyline I don’t think it matters too much at times we not be able to see all of the performers – I’ve told my stepmother what show we are seeing and that we must make sure we are at our seat 10 minutes before curtain up but she has no idea we are going to be on the stage!!
It was between this and ‘Beautiful’ – that is still very much on the list but I thought with this coming to its end of the run on Valentine’s day that it was see it now or never!
Looking forward to hearing Burt’s wonderful songs sung with twists and strong vocals!!

I really hope this does have a life and we see this at some point in London.
I can only go with what's been published on their Youtube account but I like what I've seen and heard so far so hope it's not at the end of it's road so to speak!

‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ is masterful, what a beautifully sounding and strong cast recording.
It is one of my favourite Disney’s, it is dark and the cast recording reflects this so beautifully.
I don’t think this has any chance of coming to London but such a shame that we get groan ‘Guys and Dolls’ for the Phoenix when you hear incredible stuff like this.
