Personally I’m gutted, was great to have something so bold and different in the West-End.
Sad a cast recording is very unlikely.
On the day they annouce another London run of ‘Heathers’ grrr

I thought this one was great! Really good music throughout, and some very impressive visuals - the scene mentioned above with the rain - hugely impressive. I'd not read the book or seen the film so the story was also a nice surprise. Brody Grant was absolutely wonderful as Ponyboy Curtis, and a very strong supporting cast. I think this show could do very well and settle in for a decent run. Interesting, my least favourite of my NYC trip, it felt like a lacksure ‘West Side Story’, I didn’t find the score very memorable and the characters motivations didn’t make much sense. Don’t get me wrong, the cast are great and it’s a good set and there is some good songs there (‘Stay Gold’) but it didn’t move me or make me feel any compassion to the characters, my two stand-outs were ‘Lempicka’ & ‘The Notebook’, oh and ‘Sweeney Todd’ had to rewatch to see Tevit & Foster in the show!

I enjoyed this show, seeing Kelli and Brian was amazing but dang it’s depressing and the score is so-so (it’s too samey!!) So glad I caught it though

Agree, the show looks amazing and feels like old Broadway…it’s a solid show but let down by a non memorable score

Absolutely loved it too, now I do think Act 1 needs tightening up and they to tone down the ‘villain’ character but I adored it too, it’s got an incredible score..’Chess’ meets ‘Evita’

I had a fab night, I do agree the only mistake was Pixie moving away from the mic in the final number (It’s Rita’s number!).
So I loved a 10th anniversary concert but at the same time, we need to say goodbye to concerts, I missed the great storyline watching tonight!

Hi! Has anyone received their e tickets for this yet? I’m wondering if I may have to pop by the box office as haven’t received anything. Thanks. Helen I booked via LW on pre-sale and got my ticket in my inbox upon booking! So exicted for this evening, great to see it’s pretty much sold out!!

Sorry one more point, there was a real good audience buzz tonight, didn’t feel at all people were walking out! Very full stalls & standing ovation for Sheridan!

Completely on the opposite of most here, what an absolutely brilliant night of musical theater, a solid 4 stars for me!
This is challenging, batsh*t crazy at moments, keeps you on edge and not a typical West-End musical.
Does every aspect work, no but my god Sheridan is a triumph & I loved her complex & mental breakdown journey her character goes on!
I truly hope we get a cast recording because there’s so much going on, layered, a cast recording could get this a following.
I agree it’s not commercial & unlikely for a future life but it’s a great piece of art!
So glad I went, might try to get another show for this with my partner!

Mixed bag this show (I was there tonight!)
You can’t deny it’s a thrill to hear these songs with amazing vocals, good arrangements.
This has some ingredients (it definitely is influenced by ‘Come From Away’) but they need to take a sledgehammer to the book, step away from the preaching & message crap (we are not 2 year olds watching) - it works best when it’s telling the story of what happened, the record store scenes are redundant & the modern day girl is annoying.
I have to say the 2nd act was pretty solid (bar a few things) & was enjoyable so I would say do not leave after act 1! Loved Maggie rapping!

Maxwell Caulfield (original ‘Michael’)as a teacher (so thinking ‘Reproduction’) is a fun choice though but I just think it’s a tad too expensive

Was excited for this but doing it for 1 night at the Pallidium, it’s so pricey (Made in Dagenham concert was far more reasonable).
I’ll see nearer the time if there are any deals on this!
Love ‘Grease 2’ even invested on the ‘Cool Rider’ Cast album 💿 being made!

This was actually heaps of fun at the Adelphi and it deserved better than it got at the time - Gemma Arterton was fabulous in it. But I just don't know as I need to sit through Pixie Lott 😂 Now look that play with music production of ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ wasn’t a good production however I actually thought the only bright spark with Pixie & I enjoyed her performance! I truly hope Gemma joins the concert at its end for ‘Stand Up’, that would be incredible (that’s where I would have some of the original cast join if they are game & available!

The one concert announcement I’m interested in, the show had plenty of fans such as me so I’m pleased it’s getting a 10 year anniversary!
Listening to the cast recording right now!

Noticed £35 front row tickets on sale. Intrigued to find out just how high this stage is… I sat there several times for ... Jamie as the front row was priced £20 then. It is one of the highest stages in the West End so probably not for the vertically challenged, but considering the second row is priced up to £95 it's good value and - as with Jamie - those seats will sell quickly. I've booked a Saturday evening in December so thanks very much for the tip off ! I won lottery 3 times when Jamie was there, it’s a high stage but as long as you are central than grand, just don’t select if they are to near the aisle as the leg room is tight!!

No longer doing Rush tickets, which is a shame. Must be selling well! Oh what a shame, obviously good if it’s selling well but I liked they did rush, iI suspect it’s off rush now as they are expecting an uptick in bookings once the reality tv contest to find new ‘Sophie’ & ‘Sky’ starts on ITV (I suspect next month the programme starts)

Absolutely stunning evening!
I attended the gala last year & now the first night of previews!
So much to praise but Peters, wow she is incredible!
Thought Bradley & Jon really shined tonight along with a game Bonnie!
Wow Claire Burt ‘The Ladies that lunch’ it brilliantly had an air of Elaine, Jo Riding ‘Not getting married today’
Lea was a great Mrs Lovett!
Incredible night had!!

Can’t wait to see this tonight, as one member couldn’t make tonight, we opted for a refund & brought new tickets.
This was back on the 7th and still awaiting them to refund us, we have spoken to them and we are expecting the refund either today or tomorrow (have a feeling another call will be needed!!).
Anyways, I can’t wait for some Sondheim magic at the opening preview!!

Put on notice board.
Have x1 ticket for tonight, can’t make it into town.
No charge - free ticket (rather a member here saw it rather than go to waste)
