I remember when Tennant was watching Tate in a play after their first run in Doctor Who, and Who fans heard he was going and bought tickets. And then sang the Doctor Who theme tune etc… during the show. So goodness knows, we may get people singing “Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a spider can.” Also, god help the people policing the stage door.

Producer Katy Lipson just said “casting bubbling well” so I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Dianne Pilkington as Berthe.

I’ve wanted to see Vanessa Williams on stage for years. Great character actor as Wilhelmina, stole so many scenes. And then hearing her sing Save The Best For Last on the end credits to the Priscilla movie, I said “Who is this? I need to find out who sings this.” And couldn’t believe it was the same person. She’s so talented.

I’m probably wrong and I wouldn’t book based on this; but seems funny to me that the run ends during Whoopi Goldberg’s month off from The View. Maybe there is a big name Mother Superior to be announced.

Steps said on BBC Radio Stoke earlier that there might be a sequel to Here and Now in the future.
Producer Pete Waterman: “This is quite a serious story. Completely different to I Should Be So Lucky, which is comedy with songs.”

Les Mis have posted a photo of two shadowy figures and said that casting for the arena tour will be announced soon. My opinion was that the guy on the floor was possibly Javert played by Bradley Jaden; but couldn’t make out the Valjean.

90% of the time they add a matinee closer to the dates. They wait for the evening shows to be close to selling out first.

Booked for London last night as I’ve wanted to see Vanessa Williams on stage for years. And in a role similar to Wilhelmina, and getting to sing - I’ll be in heaven with the devil.

Opening in Birmingham in November, I’ve heard. I’m thinking maybe Birmingham Rep as they’re getting a lot of new musicals. And the theatre is available from November.

Kerry Ellis has just posted a competition on her official Facebook and Instagram pages where one of the prizes is tickets to the press night of We Will Rock You. Has anyone heard anything about the show coming back or is it just an old prize that’s not been updated?

My guess: The actress playing Eva can speak the lines but not well enough to sing. Jess doesn’t know the blocking; where to stand to avoid scenery.

Sir Kenneth spotted me staring at his six-pack. It’s not well defined but definitely there. He’s too old for me though.
