I'm fully expecting at least one of the replacements to be star casting in an attempt to boost ticket sales. Because despite the extension, the ticket sales aren't amazing for this, so hopefully a boost in sales will see it futher its life in the West End. Ticket sales are nearly always above 80% capacity. What makes you think the ticket sales are poor? Is there a place that shows West End grosses? Broadway puts theirs out each week and Playbill and Broadwayworld always cover it..

When I saw it Phil Nichol was the weakest link in the show so it will be interesting to see someone else in the role. I wonder if it was the actors fault or just the way it's written. Though I suspect it can be played much bigger than it was before. I saw the understudy - Ken Christiansen play the Phil Nichols' character (the gent who usually plays the dad) as well as Phil and Ken was so much better than Phil. With Josie going (and of course she will be missed!) they leve themselves open to casting another diva with an amazing voice. Jo Riding woukd have been perfect. Ruthie would be great or Maria Friedman? Is La Paige too old for the role? or maybe too camp? S

I had a rubbish day yesterday. It was my birthday on Thursday so I decided I wanted to go down to London to see this again yesterday as I loved it when I saw it earlier this year. So I set off on the train but only got half an hour down the line (out of a two and a half hour journey) before turning round and going back home! We were an hour and a half late by that point as we got stuck behind a broken down train (why we couldn't get round it by going on another line was beyond us) and I knew I wasn't going to get there in time for the start of the show (I was going to the matinee) and there didn't seem much point in travelling another 2 hours to not see a show. On the upside I hadn't already bought my theatre ticket (I was hoping to get a dayseat or TKTS when I got there) and I got all my train fare refunded when I got back to the station so I've only lost out on my parking ticket (and cost of a bottle of wine I was in dire need of when I got home). I'm trying to work up the courage to try again this coming Saturday. Do it! You deserve it and it will be your birthday present to yourself.

Luke Bayer is on for Jamie 18-23 June. Other than that, I haven't seen any holiday dates posted. Oh! I will see Bayer then (June 23) Do you know if he will perform in the morning and the evening? And how is he compared to McCrea?? Have anyone see him already??? (Just curius because I was used to see McRea in the videos and stuff), thats why I´m asking and I really wanted to see Jhon. But, oh well..., anyways...It will be great to see Luke! I believe John is on holiday the whole week. From people who have seen Luke on this board, everyone says he’s amazing

Both Jonny Labey and Zizi Strallen were indisposed at last nights performance and their respective understudies went on. Sadly for some, Will Young still went on as planned. Why do people take the piss out of Will Young? Is he meant to be bad?

I also heard a rumor that Jagged Little Pill may be doing a run at Trafalgar Studios. Maybe just that...a rumor?

A linted run in one of the smaller theatres could well work. And with a somewhat weak season thus far for the Oliviers, it could well give both Gemma and Caroline deserved nominations for their performances! Which theatres will be available for September-Janaury this year?

Just saw this for the first time tonight. I enjoyed it a lot and everything about it was great as You would imagine. New a bit about the show and a fair few songs but was still very exoted. Stephenson Arden-Sodjie was superb as Hamilton, filled with charisma and played the character very welll with a very nice voice. I can see him doing very well in the West End and glad to have seen his debut. Don’t know who was Burr but believe it was an understudy so if anyone’s knows please tell. Can’t really add much else to what has been said but I really loved the lighting in the show and had very good seats in row J of the grand circle and they are nicely priced. I think Sifisio was on as Burr tonight. He goes on quite a lot and have heard only great things about his performance.

Jamael must be unwell...they normally wouldn’t put a u/s on on a Saturday night I’m assuming you mean they wouldn’t give an u/s a scheduled show on a Saturday, rather than meaning they would only put one on if they were really desperate?! Yes - that’s what i mean...sorry if that was unclear. I mean they would not schedule an u/s to do a Saturday night show. They would never be desperate because they are there to fill in when called upon.

Stephenson Ardern-Sodje will be on as A Ham tonight. Intriguing! Hope Jamael’s okay, I saw the Thurs matinee and all seemed fine but then Ash went on in the evening. I guess with Sifiso as Burr (as he has been since Thursday too), they’re a bit short - good job Stephenson wasn’t added to the cast a while back really. Jamael must be unwell...they normally wouldn’t put a u/s on on a Saturday night

If they put Cheryl in as Roxie, Sharon could be Mama. Perfect.
Its sad, but the show has turned into a joke with their bottom of the barrel casting. Get Nicole - at least she can sing and dance.

Maybe they can pull a younger crowd in if they change Loveland to LoveIsland Each performance, they vote a Follies girl off the Island but there is an immunity necklace

I would pay good money for that cast Kimberley Walsh as Heidi Schiller Alexandra Burke as Carlotta Amanda Holden doubling as Loveland “heart girl” and Stella Deems in a fantastic display of color blind casting!

If the Rink gets a limited run, I doubt it will be at the Savoy. Plus, they will probably want it in for Christmas somewhere to capitalize on the tourist market
I could be wrong but just my thoughts...

Question - do we think the audience will be only women - where men (of the variety that like other men) would feel out of place?
I want to go, but don't want to be the only gay person lol

I am unable to use my Hamilton ticket and I know I can call and return it, but I don't have access to call from America. Is there a way I can return the ticket via email? And if so, what is the email address? thanks You can fill in the customer support form on the Ticketmaster website. Then you get a refund minus three pounds admin costs. I can find where this form is...is there a link? thanks so much
