This could either be amazing or completely awful...

Who are we guessing for Elphaba? I would love to see Willemijn do it but I feel like if she plays Elphaba again she'll perhaps shoot for the movie.

Does anybody think there's a possibility of Chitty coming back, maybe temporarily for the anniversary? Not sure, but isnt Mary Poppins supposed to be giving it another go in London at Drury Lane after 42nd St. MP + Chitty reach for the same demographic so Im not sure whether both would visit concurrently. Not sure really. I think Chitty would perhaps be too big for Drury Lane but I'm not sure. It was at the Palladium before so maybe they bring the set ideas from the touring production into a smaller theatre?

Booked to see the tour in Birmingham (it's a birthday present for the mother, she doesn't know yet!). I've never seen the show before but obviously I've listened to it and adore it. We'll be in the back of the stalls as that's all I could afford in time for her birthday. I assume it's strong enough visually to have a good enough view? We missed it the last time it was around so I'm hoping it's a good tour, not too scaled down (if anybody saw the previous tour it would be nice to know how it was?). Granted I've never seen the London production so I won't compare it, probably a good thing! The view from the rear stalls at the Hipp is generally good. You will miss the very top of the set, and depending on which row you're sat on you may also miss something at the end of Defying Gravity...I won't say as you haven't seen the show before! When you booked were you advised of a restricted view at all? We were given a warning for a slight restricted view. Granted we're both quite short so if need be we can slide down our seats? I assume you're talking about Elphaba soaring unless there's something I don't know?
