I wouldn’t be so sure as she’s never played the same role twice.

I wouldn’t be so sure as she’s never played the same role twice. Admittedly the Kinky Boots producers were somewhat confused when she said she was leaving after her first show as Nicola but she was adamant - “I do NOT play the same role twice!.... anyway I’m off to Zurich to do a singular show as Elphaba”.

Oh I've been saying Philip for a while as Fiyero! He needs his time to shine in a lead role, it's time. Or even Boq. He deserves a leading role. 😍😍 Won’t be Philip, he’s in the cast of Fiddler at the Playhouse!

I wouldn’t be so sure as she’s never played the same role twice. I would be surprised if offered the chance to reprise Elphaba in the West End she’d turn it down!

Not many would turn down lead West End Elphaba. It would be nice if they gave someone new a chance but Amy is probably more likely.

They should be. If not, then I'll be seeing Wicked on the 20th of July just for the hell of it.

The last tour was marketed very clearly as "the very last chance to see in Manchester" and so on but it was so profitable I can't see it never going out on tour again.

The last chance to see it, in the full scale.
Any future tours will be smaller.

The last chance to see it, in the full scale. Any future tours will be smaller. Isn't the tour set considerably simpler than the Apollo Victoria one? Agree is still impressive for a touring show but when I saw it in Bristol I didn't feel it was as extravagant as the London version (though I have not seen Wicked that much). Love sets and physical design so would be very interested to hear what the differences are between the sets!

The tour set has no staircase, so they use platforms that slide in and out for scenes taking place at the sides. Also there is no trapdoor, so the young Wizard during NOMTW and Elphaba during NGD make their exits and exits via the stage. In terms of casting, the tour has two less ensemble members and Dillamond and Wizard are combined.

I imagine both Alice and Laura will leave and my guess/wish is Amy Ross and Amy Webb to take over respectively.

Lucie Jones told us at her concert tonight that she has auditioned for Wicked no less than 9 times!!! I suppose it makes sense that she wouldn’t have got it with them bringing in many ex green girls and bumping up standbys in the past year. She also told us that she’s in the middle of auditioning for it yet again and she’s determined that she’ll play the role one day. As much as I love Amy Ross, I would really love to see Lucie in the witch’s hat come July!

I actually see Lucie as more of a Glinda, but she could do either witch in my opinion!
It's not gonna be Amy Ross. I can just tell.

See I don’t see Lucie as a Glinda at all. I guess she could do it, I’m sure she could pull off the humour like in Legally Blonde and look great in a blonde wig but she has such an amazing belt that I think would be wasted in the Glinda part. Also it was The Wizard and I she sang for us so it must be Elphaba she’s been auditioning for.

I also see her much more as a Glinda, looks and voice wise.

Fair play to Lucie for her persistence! Good for her! I know Emma Williams is the same for the amount of time she has auditioned for Glinda. Those two together would be a pretty decent pairing.

Two Glindas and no Elphie? That’ll in fact be an interesting pairing Jokes apart: As much as I’d love to see Emma Williams in the bubble, I think she’s a bit too old now - or at least needs an older Elphaba - she’d have been the perfect Glinda opposite Willemijn a few years ago.

Remember that time when they had recast Glinda then Savannah decided to stay? Or like Waitress UK had 3 British in finals for Jenna then offered KMP more money so she accepted? They go through this process without fail every year, just to have all bases covered - then the next year they will get people back in from last year, along with the new people they have been seeing. Casting is not like an office job where they wait until someone puts their notice in to find someone new. Although Les Mis & Phantom is like that for the most part, they tend to ask who’s staying, then put return offers out, then recast for the tracks they need to recast for. Cam Mac is not actually the villain he’s painted out to be.

I know this is left field but how about they get Jessica Vosk to do it for a month or so? Rumor has it she is leaving the Broadway production in May so they can just slip her in for July-August.
I know it's wishful thinking but, I would love to see her live.

I LOVED her on tour, but did not enjoy my most recent trip to see her in NYC has just highlighted the lack of acting she puts into the character. YES, she has an amazing voice, but her acting is very lackluster.
