Pouring with rain in London, can't think of anything worse than sitting / laying on a cold wet pavement all night. Yeah but think how much 5th cover midwife appreciates this insane level of support!!

I listened to the cast recording the other day and if Idina sounded like that when she actually sung the score, i think she would be one of my favourites.
Unfortunately she sounds like a whiny mess struggling to hit the money notes. No I haven't seen her live but I don't need to.
I'm sure acting was good but in a musical like Wicked you really need both.

Thinking back to when she opened London, she was fantastic...real goosebumps stuff. It may have been inconsistent but the night we went she was aflame!!!

That Tony video was my first proper introduction to the show after listening to the cast recording! I was wowed with goosebumps!

I think whoever cast her in the original was a genius. Likewise with Kristen. God I wish it wasn't too late for them for the movie. Or is it?

Idina was incredible the times I saw her in London. Plenty have told me of ropey performances but I certainly didnt see that.

I wonder how Willemijn feels today after almost 10 years of playing Elphaba she's leaving. She's also 42 now so this is probably (?) her last time playing the role.

My first introduction to the show was seeing Willemijn perform 'Ik lach om zwaartekracht' (Defying Gravity) on the Uitmarkt in Amsterdam in 2011. I was blowm away by her and booked a ticket to see the show immediately after seeing her perform. For all of you who are going to the meet up and to see the show(s) today. Have a safe trip to London and enjoy every moment of it! I am a bit jealous I'm missing it, but I am very happy I got to see Suzie and Willemijn last week. I hope Suzie feels a bit better. It would be such a shame for her to not feel well on her last day in the Emerald City.

Facebook has informed me that it was 2 years ago today that I saw the show for the first time. It seems like so much longer! I hope everyone going today has a great time - a bit sad that I couldn't have seen Willemijn a second time but I'll hopefully be seeing the new cast before too long.

saw Willemijn as Elphaba the first time august 2010, when she played in Oberhausen, Germany. She played with my fave Fiyero, Anton Zetterholm. What a dreamteam. What a journey she had since then, hope she has a great last show today.

Looking at the seat plan it's going to be an echo chamber in there tonight.
Perhaps they should introduce some yodelling into the performance.

Would have thought they'd try and shift all the tickets for the last 24 hours or so of sale. Monday looks pretty empty so far too, especially given that it's now the summer holidays

Good for Suzie that she is able to do her last two shows I hope Willemijn has an incredible last show. Quite sad that there are so many tickets left unsold, but the prices are ridiculous.

Dare I say it maybe they also dont have the massive fan following that the likes of Rachel,Louise, Kerry, etc had.
Anyway I'm sure they get a good send off tonight
