Where's the best place to sit? Any rows cooler than others ha ha ha! Yes, J, K and L 1 and 2 are close to the theatre doors and noticeably cooler. Balcony 1 seats 6 back are also near a door. That's great thank you! How about the first few rows?! You should do a section on the website about theatre temperatures! Noticed on the charing cross website there's a £3 booking fee per ticket

Oh no! I remember being uncomfortable when I watched Titanic last year but was hoping that was just a one off as all the other times I have been to the theatre I have been cold.

Charing Cross Theatre in July/August fills me with dread... but I've booked anyway! Why does it fill you with dread? Any discounts around for this?

I fancy seeing this but have heard this theatre is unbearably hot? Is it that bad?

I would be surprised if it does extend past July. It's being comped a fair bit this week and next week for example Never a great sign I will have to decide nearer the time when it's more clear if it's extending or closing if I can squeeze a visit in.

Ooh that's cool. How many tickets roughly does that hold? I see it says 52 pages but how many tickets to a page?

Is this definitely closing in July? Not seen it yet and not sure I can fit a trip in as have busy weekends up until then.

So do you keep your theatre tickets once you have used them or throw them away?
I collect mine, but all shoved into a big envelope. How do you store yours?
(Slow day at work hence starting a boring topic like this!)

My friend and I had people either side of us the other day at Southwark Playhouse which weren't pleasant. Next to me was a guy who I don't think had washed for about a month so I kept getting a whiff of his BO every few minutes! Then my friend had an elderly couple next to her who kept speaking and moaning through out the play. Whenever a character raised the voice the man would say to his wife "Oh I wish he would shut up!" Then when a character was clipping his toe nails the man said "Oh that is disgusting!". Must be disruptive for the cast what with the theatre being so small. Then at the end of the play the woman had left her cup of tea on the floor for everyone to trip over. I hate people.

Have I missed this at Woking or Wimbledon or did it not go to either?

Checked for the rest of the week and yes back of stalls £15 although not on the day I can do 😭 ah that's a shame. If it's a busy day they may end up opening the Upper, keep an eye on it Thanks, will do or I might just pay more and get a decent stalls seat. Trying to stop spending so much on theatre never happens with me!

I was looking to book this in Wimbledon and planning on doing front of the upper circle to save a few pounds (saw Priscilla from there and found the view fine) but it is either sold out up there or not on sale. Anyone know if Wimbledon tend to not put their cheaper tickets on sale? Advertises tickets from £15 but none available at this price. Can't believe it is sold out completely in the circle already!

Don't know how sold out this is but just returned some tickets for tonight's show to the box office. Dress circle row e £16. If anyone wants them they are there! Maybe I should put this on a Harry Potter website!!

I don't mind Sunday shows but usually avoid London on a Sunday due to the slow train services. A Saturday can take half an hour then a Sunday 1 hour 30. That and if I see two shows on a Saturday I can't be bothered to go out again the next day. Getting too old for that!

The performance isn't sold out, which will be why they won't refund - fairly standard theatre practice. If you're a member though you'll be able to exchange to a different day! I'm an ATG member and they wouldn't let me exchange to a different day. Couldnt get rid of them so the seats went unused. The theatre let me exchange my tickets at the box office. It was for Virginia Woolf so it's strange they wouldn't let you change.

So has to be done over the phone, they won't let me do it at the theatre? You should be able to do it at the theatre if it's the theatre you booked at/that's where the show is. I've done it before! I booked online but passing by the theatre later and rather do things face to face rather than on the phone!

Does anyone know if I can exchange tickets for an ATG show at the theatre's box office or do I have to phone the number on their website?

All there is the ATG card midweek discount...it hasn't sold very well at all though so keep an eye out in case they release a Groupon/Travelzoo or similar. I noticed there are plenty of seats left so was hoping someone had spotted a groupon offer or email offer.. I will keep my fingers crossed, or just pay up the full amount!

I knew there would be debate on using cast recordings rather than soundtracks!
