Yep, I'll have it please... Do you still want it? I've not seen any reply to my messages. If not it's still available to anyone, or I'll post it back to the National on Friday to get a credit.

I've booked a few things, although none of their actual plays appealed so I've gone for the music based stuff.
Annoyingly, Keiran Hodgson was cancelled due to a 'scheduling conflict on Keiran's end', but I did get a refund.

Some advice for anyone who's seen it? How much standing around is there, and how does the moving around work? Not worried myself, but mum is recovering from a hip operation and is concerned I went last week. There was a wheelchair user there. It is all on one level. There are 3 parts, each of approx 30 mins. Part 1 is in the auditorium with bleacher seating. The wheelchair spaces are on ground level. Part 2, everyone leaves the auditorium and walks into the backstage area (which has been turned into a performance space) and stands. Then you walk through another backstage area and back into the auditorium for part 3, which is seated . HTH

I got an email offering me 6 months free.
However, there was no mention in the email about them no longer supporting existing purchases.
Staggeringly bad customer service.

Well I never expected you to agree with me Parsley. I cannot comment on any refunds offered or not, but the ticket I bought this morning was priced as a preview.

On the contrary Parsley, I think that admitting they needed more time to ensure safety of everyone involved is incredibly professional. As is admitting maybe they made a mistake in their initial scheduling, but doggedly sticking to the original schedule would have been far less professional.

Well unlike Foxa I am not complaining that Jack Farthing took his shirt off ⅔ way through.
The coup de theatre mentioned (and not spoiled) above was amazing. Yes, there was a show stop for technical difficulties right near the end (about 1 page from the end). The curtain came in and we waited for about 10 minutes while they reset and we started that chunk of the scene again.I heard the FOH manager explaining to some patrons on the way out that it was to do with safety, and I can see why.
Some patrons were grumbling that they had been too ambitious. One shouted loudly that if the show wasn't ready it should've have been performed. I disagree. It is a technical show. All shows need an audience and theatre (well, society as a whole actually) needs ambition. And that is what previews are for, and technically as Press Night has been changed til Monday apparently, today it was still in previews.
My only problem with it was that I was watching the set so much towards the end that I didn't really hear the words, but that was sorted out by buying the playtext on my way out. However, I'm a stage manager myself so it's probably only right and correct that I was concentrating most on the set (and wondering how the blinking flip they did it)
I'd recommend, and I really hope that they sort out all the technical problems so they (the whole team, cast and crew) can settle in to what is a great production which deserves recognition.

I saw it from Stage seat SA1 tonight and thought it was excellent. No real sightline issues, apart from one short action towards the end but the dialogue and audience laughter meant I could easily guess what was happening. A brilliant performance from Denise Gough and some really interesting points to make. There was a lovely long interview with an AA member in the programme, and a very clever set. Added that sitting on the stage seats meant I could have a peek backstage as I was escorted to my seat, meant it was a highly enjoyable evening.
And all for £15. Got to be the bargain of the year so far.

I went to this earlier and was disappointed www.kcl.ac.uk/artshums/ahri/eventrecords/2015-2016/LSC/Digital-Shakespeare-.aspxIt started 10 mins late. Many attendees had attended the earlier event and stayed in their seats so even though I was there early, many seats were already taken The speaker himself spent far too long explaining the history of libraries and library classification systems (which I'm not 100% sure of the relevance) so there wasn't enough time left to talk about the interesting stuff. 3/10 from me. I'm going to the New Hamlet event tomorrow so hope that one is better.

Not me personally, but I was sat a few rows behind a slight altercation when some seats were double booked. The woman who was sat in the seats first kept saying "My ticket says E15. I am sat in E15. You must have make a mistake" to the other person. An usher came over and politely asked to see her ticket. The woman initially refused, but eventually showed it to her. The usher calmly said "No madam, you paid £15 for your ticket. Your seat is M18" . I snorted with laughter.

If these are still available (i doubt it by now) I'd be interested in one of them. ps as this is my first post on here, I am a member from the old board. I've not been a frequent user lately as have been busy but I think there are a few users here who would vouch for me. pps And if it's not available, has anyone tried queuing for returns? Hi there - yes, still available. I'll PM you if I can work out how on this new board... One ticket still remaining and with the added benefit that you get to sit next to kjb! Thanks. I got the PM and have replied.

And I have two front row seats for evening 25 Feb, A17-18 which I now cannot use due to work constraints. Face value £39.50 each, which is all I'm looking for. Would rather sell as a pair but would split if necessary. E-tickets so can be emailed… If these are still available (i doubt it by now) I'd be interested in one of them. ps as this is my first post on here, I am a member from the old board.
