I agree. There's the obvious problem that an insane murderer is treated as the most eligible of bachelors by every young woman who meets him, but apart from that it's an OK show with some great musical numbers. It absolutely baffles me that we are supposed to find it plausible that a young woman engaged to a rich, handsome Viscount who she had known since childhood suddenly decides just before her wedding to go & have sex with a psychopathic, deformed, multiple murderer & stalker! I remember the one time I saw the show live sitting there simultaneously hating the plot & what had been done to the characters while getting goosebumps from some of the music. If only the lovely music had been used for a better plot. Poor Piangi was still warm and yet she chose to ride the Phantom's gondola smh

Don’t you think that was possibly intentional though? Just because he has CP doesn’t mean he can’t be an arse. People can have disabilities and not necessarily be nice or sympathetic characters. The character’s sexual confidence grows massively during this season and many will recognise how that can change people. I think this series was as much about Ryan’s best friend and mum’s storylines which I really enjoyed. Ah, now I did wonder about that. Just seemed odd to write your own story and make you out to no be so great. But honest and realistic I guess. Felt very sorry for Tanner. Agreed. He definitely did a faux pass at the prom, but he also got an unnecessary amount of crap for other things, especially the douching accident (no pun intended!).

For me it's Fra Fee, I saw him in Les Misérables, Candide, Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, The Ferrymen, Translations, A Little Night Music and Kings of Broadway

It's not uncommon for the creative team to sit in the back of stalls, take notes etc during previews

From (most of) the creative team behind "Grey Gardens", Far From Heaven is based on Todd Haynes' 2002 movie with Julianne Moore. With Scarlett Strallen, Ako Mitchell and the musical direction by Alex Parker.

Declan Bennett as Billy Carly Bawden as Julie Joanna Riding as Nettie John Pfumojena as Mr Snow Natasha May Thomas as Louise This is intriguing! A few days ago I was wondering what Carly Bawden has been up to, she was great in Assassins and the only decent thing about the abominable wonder.land. I think Carousel really benefits from a young Billy and Juliet so it is a slightly mixed bag in that regard, but it's a very solid cast and I'm sure they'll do great. Lovely to see Joanna returning to the show and I'm really curious now to see who they will cast as Carrie

He's probably slightly too old, but nothing that a shave and a black wig could not fix. He'd be a fantastic baker

Does anyone have any idea of dates for this? And I wonder how long Jessie and Eddie would be contracted for? And the question is…which theatre is available? Playhouse Theatre

The Old Vic has commissioned a musical adaptation of When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit by Judith Kerr, brought to the stage with book and lyrics by Caroline Bird, with music by Miranda Cooper and Nick Coler. No date announced, it will be developing over the coming years.
