New production of the musical coming to London from July-August 2020. Not sure where, but notices have gone out.

Could it be the Hope Mill production making a (very) belated transfer?

Could it be the Hope Mill production making a (very) belated transfer? I’d be surprised if it was, based on who’s casting it and that it doesn’t mention that it’s a transfer of that production. But you never know!

I think this is the right time for a revival, certainly with the popularity of Dear Evan Hansen.

For me this eclipses all recent revival announcements by miles. It was criminal how short that original London production run was. Hopefully they can assemble a cast that can match the one I saw in Hammersmith.

Me and my family are considering a big London trip for around then (none of them have been before) and I'd love to see this but there is not a chance I'm watching it with them hahaha!

Great news this is one I've wanted to see for ages! I worry my expectations might be too high even.

I've been listening to the cast recording a lot recently so I'd love to see it on stage. So many musicals I've fallen in love with recently are popping up, I've been very lucky!

I could quite happily watch this again! Loved it at the Lyric but never bothered again and then it was gone.

Saw an amateur production of this fairly recently and was blown away. Will definitely catch it

Any recommendations for cast recordings for SA? I mean, you can’t really beat the OBCR for this one I don’t think.

The OBCR is by far the best in my opinion!

Very excited by this news! Spring Awakening is one of my favourite cast recordings but I've never seen a live production so will definitely try and see this when it comes back to London. Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind has to be one of my favourite ever musical theatre songs!

I wonder if this is the reason the HM production didn’t/couldnt transfer?

Eight weeks sounds like the sort of run that the Menier usually have for their summer musical.
