Might be a silly question, but have you looked on Seatplan? They do have Broadway theatres on there, though there might not be as many reviews as there are for the London theatre.

Sorry to be that guy but can anyone who has been say whether it's a high stage or not. Wondering about the new tickets in the first 2 rows which are steep in price. From my seat in row F, it looked like the stage was at about top of the head height for those in the front row. I think there was a bit of a gap between the stage and the front row, so I don’t think it would be too much neck strain. Regarding my earlier post about the running time, it got out at about 22:30 tonight. Scene changes really added to the length.

Likely due to the train strike, but on Saturday by 10:30, they had reduced all the remaining singles in the Royal Circle to £29 or £39, including one in the centre of the front row for £39. They’re always more likely to reduce the singles down a fair amount than 2+ seats. I’m waiting to see what happens with tonight’s performance - if they release standing and haven’t reduced any seats to a price I’m willing to pay, I’ll just go with standing.

How well is this selling? They seem to be advertising it in every ITV ad break this week! It’s selling very well, however they seem to do a lot of sales close to the performance (like the week of) rather than more in advance, so that could be the aim of the TV advert push - to generate more advance sales.

Have the U30s tickets sold out? Yes, the Ticket Info page on the website now has They made more than 5000 tickets available then (which wasn’t how it was worded on the specific page of the website) as tickets that were part of the offer are still available, just now at full price.

On the B&C website, they’ve put the months that the different Clydes and Blanches are performing, but haven’t put venues e.g. Alex James Hatton is February-April and Danny Hatchard is April-October so don’t know when in April the changeover will happen
Edit to add: Looks like they’ve put it at the bottom of the What’s On Stage article. Alex will play Clyde up to and including Glasgow. Catherine starts the tour as Blanche, then Daisy takes over from Nottingham until Brighton, with Catherine returning for Birmingham onwards.

Someone said it's Adam James Hatton You mean Alex James Hatton. I’ve seen a lot of people say him however he doesn’t have any facial hair going off his most recent Instagram post 4 days ago. It doesn’t really look like him to me. We don’t know that all the photos are of the actors playing Bonnie & Clyde though - it could be Buck and Blanche as well. I saw someone say they thought the woman in the first picture looked like Catherine Tyldesley. Accounts that Alex James Hatton has recently followed on Instagram include Catherine and Sam Ferriday. Also Nate Landskroner, who has recently followed a lot of people involved with B&C.

The logic of the Sun apparently Nadiya wasn't given a partner as all the guys this year apart from Bobby Brazier aren't as tall as her or certainly not as tall as her in heels. The show's bosses felt that pairing 20 year old Bobby with Nadiya who is in her mid 30's was too much of an age gap. Fair enough but Bobby is paired with Dianne Buswell who is 3 months older than Nadiya. The age gap between pros and celebs has never been an issue Angela Rippon is 50 years older than her partner, Annabel Croft is 20 years old than hers, Les Dennis is 37 years older than his. Talk about a none excuse. Plus Bobby is nearly a foot taller than Dianne. Two years in a row of Dianne getting a celeb who’s much taller than her and just as Tyler did last year, I expect Bobby will have a lot of work to do on maintaining frame in hold without hunching over.

Sounds very much like it's a Three issue. I've been loathe to change it as I'm on a ridiculously cheap tariff but I guess if it doesn't work then it's not really a bargain! Thinking of changing to Giffgaff which uses the O2 network so please shout if that's equally bad. I’m on Tesco which uses O2 and I usually don’t have any issues in London - completely different story where I live in Surrey, and 99% of the time can’t do anything using 4G (if I even manage to get 4G).

I finally saw this last night (Wednesday). I longed to see the Broadway production but it wasn’t possible (too young to take myself to New York mainly!) and it has been a very long wait to see it come to the UK, but what a worthwhile wait. This production exceeded my every expectation.
Caissie Levy sings the score effortlessly, with an acting performance to match. It’s maybe a more understated performance than some might have expected but I thought it worked. When she let go, she let go. Yes, Jamie Parker does struggle with some of Dan’s songs but his acting and the emotion he delivers more than make up for it. He is so believable and utterly heartbreaking as a man trying to hang on and hold everything and everyone together. Jack Wolfe was brilliant as Gabe - his stage presence and the aura he gave off were perfect. I could hardly take my eyes off Eleanor Worthington-Cox when she was on stage. She was living and feeling every single moment, even when she wasn’t the focus of the scene (You Don’t Know was an excellent example of this).
I wept through the majority of Act 2 and was sobbing through ‘Light’ - partly because of the material and partly because, after more than a decade, I had finally seen a production of Next to Normal.
An easy 5 stars from me.

Finally saw this last night, really enjoyed it and great to see the spectacle after seeing a lot of scaled-back productions recently (not that they were bad, just nice for a change!). Jamie will be VERY hard to beat, thought the rest of the cast were strong too. Is this a bigger cast change coming up or just Jamie leaving? It’s a big cast change, nearly all (if not all) of the principals are leaving if what I’ve heard is correct, and from social media posts over the past week or so, a fair few of the ensemble & swings are departing too.

I managed to get a pair of tickets in the Royal Circle for Thursday, after being 498 in the queue. When I got through, all shows bar Thursday were listed as sold out, and for a while it said there was nothing for Thursday but I kept refreshing for a few minutes and eventually a pair came up.
Going by a comment on Twitter, there were over 5000 trying. Even though I did manage to get tickets, I would much prefer the lottery over this.

My mum always said after seeing the film, the stage version never seems as good but she still enjoyed it a couple of times I took her to see it. Gina is nearing 40 so possibly on the older side but wasn't the legendary Petula Clark nearly 50 when she played the role. Dame Julie was 29/30 when the film was made and Gina can pass for younger. Once the girl playing Liesl was older than the actress playing Maria in one production I saw but the Lisel actresses could pass for much younger. In the 2013 Regent’s Park production, Faye Brookes who played Liesl is a few years older than Charlotte Wakefield who played Maria.

I’m never quite sure how well this works as a showcase for theatre. Always pretty hit and miss, even with shows I’ve seen before and liked. Actually put me off seeing stuff last year, so have only watched a few this time around. Noticed people asking on the Moulin Rouge video why they hasn’t posted Jamie Muscato. Found an unofficial clip of it and even with slightly iffy sound and all the screaming and whoooing that has to have been one of the highlights. What was the Annie Get Your Gun performance? The cast from the concert a couple of months ago? Seems odd. They did upload Jamie Muscato’s performance, but then set it as unlisted:

So back to ATG card holders - aside from nick, has anybody else received a specific ATG email targeted exclusively at cardholders? I've received bog all other than the one from Jamie Lloyd. I only seem to get TheatreCard member emails when I don’t have an active membership (so no, I haven’t had an email about this)

There is a food stand outside the theatre that’s basically just adding to the usual cafe fare with some hot food. Inside (foyer) you can buy popcorn. I noticed tubs of popcorn sold pre-show inside (and lots of signs encouraging people to get an ice cream even though there is no interval) but it being a Chichester audience I didn’t hear anyone eating popcorn throughout on the side I was on! This is very well cast, very well sung. I was not enthusiastic about the staging when I walked in but the show won me back. (If someone could let me know the spoiler text code please I’ll say more!) I don’t think three balladeers worked too well, I’d much rather have seen just Liam Tamne sing it as his voice is glorious and as much as I love Lizzy Connolly her diction wasn’t clear enough with such quick lines a few times and she got lost in the mix. I appreciate the info, thank you! I guess I shouldn't have really worried about it given it's Chichester! Looking forward to seeing it in a few days. The website lists the running time as "to be confirmed" - I'm assuming it was the usual 1 hr 45/50? FOH were saying 1 hour 50 beforehand, and it was pretty much bang on that.

Automation and fly issues such as a set flying in very close to the banner, even with a show stop in seeing you meaning we never got to see the end of that number! I was also at the show last night and just wanted to correct that the show stop happened at the end of If I Had My Time Again - we weren’t robbed of the glorious ending to Seeing You! I love this show so much. Last night was my second visit of this run, having been at the first preview, and my fourth visit overall after seeing the original Old Vic production twice. Andy Karl is just as brilliant as ever, and Tanisha Spring is doing an excellent job as Rita. I do miss the revolves a bit, but I think lots of the new staging and choreography is great. I can’t wait to revisit over the course of the run - two more currently booked!

Advance bookings open tomorrow - Wed 10 May - for NT Members so there must be a theatre chosen. I'm thinking Noel Coward Theatre. Remember when it was the New Theatre Oliver! started it's record breaking run in the 60s there so the stage is big enough. I can't find anything about this. Is it still happening? Yesterday on the What’s On section of the NT website, there was a bit at the bottom about Hadestown stating that member booking opened 10th May and general booking would open on 19th May (basically an advert encouraging people to become members) - that is no longer there.
