Oh my God I am hungover...
I had such a good time, it was really great to meet you all, and especially thanks to Andrew and Ryan for being my pub buddies! I didn't realise quite how drunk I was until I was on the train home, and I also realise I have no memory of leaving the pub!! I'm now hoping I didn't do anything too stupid...

Me too! Have told myself if they're bad seats, but it's a good show, I'll book to see it again from better seats later in the run.

Yes the Original Dress Circle was on top of the Covent Garden Market building, up steps on the South Side. I think I only went once but liked it more than the newer one. I agree U St M lane was scary. Very cliquey and sky high prices. But where else provided that fix? The first time I went to Dress Circle, in about 2003, I asked if they had Frances Ruffelle's new solo album in yet, and mentioned I had downloaded one of the tracks that she had put on her website for free. Cue a tirade from the man behind the till about how I was destroying the music industry and ruining performers' livelihoods by downloading from the internet. The fact that the performer in question had uploaded the track on their own website and invited people to download it seemed to be irrelevant. So not only cliquey and rude to customers, but displaying a complete lack of understanding of the online world and the future of the music industry.

I was going to say, I do hope with so many of the attendees going to see Wicked, it doesn't just become 'Wicked meet-up'

I'm loving the whole thing. There are shows I would have liked to spend more time with, but it's a good selection so far, and I've learned a lot.

Saw Les Mis again last night - actually my first time at Queens and with the smaller orchestra, it's been a while. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even from the very back row of the Upper Circle. Must go back more often!

Quick question for those who booked on here on Monday from noon: did Ticketmaster put you in a queue, or did everyone get straight through? If they did put a queue in, was it at the "pick a month" page or later in the process? Asking as I'm doing some research. Thanks. I was definitely in a queue, I think I went to www.ticketmaster.co.uk/hamilton, chose the month, and then got put into the queue. Then once I got on to a chosen date and chose the price levels of seats I wanted, it also put me into a 'pseudo-queue' while it searched for available seats on that day.

When I saw the show on December 29th, I was actually a tad dissapointed, as the abs and pecs really weren't what I was expecting based on the reviews from people on here and everything. Maybe it was just a little bit of Christmas weight that got on him. He still looked slim, but there were no abs there. Jade however, looked amazing! I don't remember there being any particularly impressive abs either. Pecs, yes, yes please... abs, not so much. (not that I am complaining or criticising, I hasten to add!)

Does anyone have an idea of how much availability was put on sale today (as opposed to what there'll be next week)? Got tickets today but they're not ideal so wondering whether it's worth trying again next week... On the choose-your-own-seat plans available for the later performances, it looks like much of the theatre is available.

I went in again, and it's now re-enabled the choose your own seat facility. Lots of seats available for the random Wednesday I chose in April (including some £20 ones). Where are the £20 ones, out of interest? The grand circle slips, so eight seats in total (unless I'm missing any others).

My email link didn't work at all, just never re-directed to Ticketmaster. Went there manually and got in the queue that way - all worked fine once I was in. Have ended up with preview tickets for £47.50, which is what I wanted - rather off to the side, so not the best seats, but I'm happy enough

Has anyone sat in row F of the upper circle? Looking for a cheap ticket for this but I'm not sure how annoying the rail in front will be. When I saw both Gypsy and Guys and Dolls in the Upper Circle, people were complaining about the bar (or rather, bars, because there's one in front of Row F, and also one behind Row E to ensure nobody falls off the walkway, so it's a double-bar). I went and sat there during the interval to see what it was like, and thought it was really bad. For Gypsy I was right at the top on the end, L9, and I think that's a better seat - you're higher up and further away, but the sightlines are clearer. For the cheap tickets I'd take K or L, rather than F or G.

I struggle to see why this is successful as anything other than people expecting a Whitney tribute night - the book is dreadful, the set looks cheap and the abrupt ending just doesn't work except as a lead in to a song. Reading this, I tried to remember what happened at the ending... but I realised I could barely remember anything about the plot, and nothing about the ending. Which to be honest, really says something about the book of this musical.

Wicked is also in great shape at the moment - it received the shake up it needed so I love going back to see this more regularly than I did in 2015. What have they done to shake it up?

After consideration, I've ranked all the musicals I saw in 2016. I was hoping to see something else in December to bring it to a nice round 20, but 19 will have to do. Easily my biggest theatre-going year.
1. Sunset Boulevard (superb - I've never seen the show, never heard it in full before and didn't even really know the plot, so not only was I stunned by Glenn Close's performance, I thoroughly enjoyed the intrigue, twists and turns of what is surely one of ALW's best pieces.) 2. In the Heights (saw it three times in 2016, loved it every time.) 3. Miss Saigon (based solely on my viewing in 2016, when I deliberately went to see Sooha Kim's scheduled performance. From my previous viewing in late 2015 with Eva Noblezada, it would be higher.)
4. Children of Eden (probably my favourite musical, but the Union Theatre's production was lacking in some areas (underpowered vocals from some of the cast and too minimalist a design) - still a good enough musical to rank this high.) 5. The Toxic Avenger (my biggest surprise of 2016, just a thoroughly enjoyable evening.) 6. Titanic 7. School of Rock 8. Funny Girl 9. Wicked (I've seen it three times, so it's hard to compare to all these first-times surrounding it, but I think this is about right. For me it's now a solid, enjoyable night out, but it doesn't thrill me anymore.) 10. The Go-Between
11. Side Show 12. Grey Gardens 13. Mrs Henderson Presents (one stunner of a song surrounded by lots of mediocre-ness.) 14. The Bodyguard 15. Aladdin (disappointing - was one of my most highly anticipated shows of 2016.) 16. Guys and Dolls 17. wonder.land 18. Sunny Afternoon (probably a good show if you're the target audience. I'm really not.)
19. Murder Ballad (the only thing I regret seeing. Unlikeable, pointless and just dull.)

I would certainly be up for it.
As this kind of thing is often quite hard to organise, I suggest that a couple of people just decide on a date/time/place they want to meet, and tell everyone else what they're doing, and people can come along if they can.

I hope the new version of the app doesn't add loads of needless extras that make it bloated and slow to load on older phones. Too many apps do this - I like the fact that TodayTix app is relatively simple. For example, that map feature sounds like the kind of idea that looks cute and clever, but has limited use.
