I thought I read somewhere that there would have been discounted tickets for NHS workers, under 30s etc, but I can't find this piece of information anywhere – did I make it up? James McAvoy has just been interviewed on the radio. They will be released every Monday at 12 noon. £15 each.

Because I wasn't available, can't act and don't have any name recognition. 😁

Spend, Spend, Spend is at Bridlington's Spotlight Theatre from 26 April to 1 May. There's no need to spend, spend, spend as tickets are only £10! 😁
And there's a production of David Essex's All the Fun of the Fair at Nottingham's Arts Theatre from 25 to 28 May.

I know the English are often accused of exceptionalism, but why is there still this belief that soggy pieces of cloth make the slightest difference in this country, when they clearly haven't elsewhere? Perhaps if France eased off on the restrictions, its cases would fall too.

I don't know, our anita. If it's not you that's falling to bits, it's your appliances! Did he do it willingly, or was there grumpiness? 😉

Who was it that posted about how wonderful it had been to travel through Austria, where everyone willingly wore not just masks, but the high-grade masks mandated by the government? A month later Austria went into lockdown, followed by Germany and France. 🤔

"This is a formal complaint. I've got my smart coat on." 😂 That could only be a Jonathan Harvey line, surely?
He should write some gags for Shelagh Turner. Her whispering worthiness is becoming wearisome.

It was episode 5 for me last night. I felt like I was tripping on acid.
I don't think I've ever heard Bette Davis Eyes being re-imagined before. It worked rather well I thought.
The final episode will have to be very disappointing for me to regret investing six hours of my time.

It may immediately bounce back, but would it be worthwhile trying to email Nica Burns direct, perhaps cutting and pasting the key points from your posts.

She always seems like a no-nosense type of woman.

ALW must be thinking what the rest of us are. Restrictions will end in England when the legislation expires in late January.

I have a selection, lynette. The 18 all butter M&S ones were yesterday, the Aldi ones are 26 January, and the two 25p boxes from Sainsbury's have February dates. None will be getting frozen, I can assure you of that. 😉

Just back from Aldi with another four boxes of mince pies, to add to the nine I've already got in the pantry. Well they are now 9p for half a dozen!
You should see how many tubes of Smarties I have...not to mention the Jelly Tots...and the Matchmakers...

You do have the most terrible luck with trains, BurlyBeaR. No word of a lie, you were the first (and only) bear I thought of this morning when I heard the travel news on the wireless. I got the impression that trains are running via Huddersfield, which would normally be nice, but not if it doubles a journey that already takes far longer than it should. 😡 At least the torrential rain hasn't materialised...yet. 🙂

You're probably on the mailing list now, FrontroverPaul, but in case you aren't, and for everyone else, this summer's youth theatre production at Wakefield Theatre Royal is West Side Story. I've heard there's a new film out, so bang on trend. 😉 24 August to 3 September, with two Saturday matinees. Tickets on sale now. Can't promise there won't be fighting football supporters, or a broken down train at Fitzwilliam!

She Loves Me at the Sheffield Crucible on Saturday. The weather forecast for tomorrow is awful, our david, so you'll need to be like a boy scout and come prepared. 🌧☂️

Won't a November return mean this is the show that immediately precedes Standing at the Sky's Edge? That is 'ambitious' scheduling!
