Just binged watched S2 today. An absolutely fantastic piece of drama both in its writing and acting. Hopefully a third series is lined up. I think it's been confirmed there'll be no further series. Probably just as well, they surely couldn't wring any more juice from it. |

Maybe she'll find a way of bringing back Andrew Scott's Max/C. His exit in Spectre was one of the funniest scenes ever in a Bond film.
Interested to see Freddie Mercury as the villain, partly as I didn't see BR and don't know his work. In the last two 007s, they cast villains who'd been genuinely unnerving baddies in then-recent films (No Country, Inglorious Bs) and turned them into amusing pantomime characters.

Malek is quite outstanding in Mr Robot, well worth a watch. |

I tried watching the first series a year or so ago and could not get into it. A friend recently recommended it, specifically the second series, so I jumped into series 2 and swallowed it up in a couple of nights. What a brilliant bit of writing this is. Strong, interesting characters on a real journey. Great fun. Brilliantly timed too, there was one moment with FB and the Priest that had me laughing and the pause in the dialogue was timed perfectly for my laughing to continue and stop - it didn't feel coincidental but very accurate direction. Considering myself a fan now.
