I have seen "fans" following performers home. That's where it crosses the line from acceptable to not. We need to be better at self policing at stage doors.

I agree. But i would say the majority who stage door have the decent manners to respect the performers. Even some of those who buy gifts.
It really is all about common decency, just say a few words about how youve enjoyed the show and get your programme signed, quick selfie. Any more than that is the start of overstepping that line
