Also, they definitely added an extra row in front of Row K stalls in previews anyway, hence my disbelief that they're gonna cram another row in.

Karl Queensborough is making his debut as Hamilton tonight I’d love to hear a full report for anyone who was there

Saw Hamilton for the first time last night. What talent! What energy!
From seat K15 (£37.50) in the Grand Circle (i.e. the very last row in the theatre) the view was good – you just missed the top of actors’ heads on the rare occasions they were up high at the back of the set. The audience members standing/leaning behind us commented that their view was pretty good for the money too.
It was Karl Queensborough’s second appearance as Hamilton, and according to his tweets his parents were in – so no pressure then for him last night! Lovely voice and clear enunciation. In my opinion, not quite fully owning the part just yet, which is understandable. His was a more modest, subtle performance than that from most of the people around him.
I thought, in general, the men were easier to understand than the women in what is of course a very wordy musical. All the singing voices were great, but for me Sifiso Mazibuko as Burr was the best of the very rich talent on show – he owned that stage.
Overall, therefore, a wonderful, exciting experience. My only feeling was that someone with the critical eye of a Nicholas Hytner could have edited out some 10 – 15 minutes from the first half to make an even better show.

Just back from today's matinee. I went in knowing Karl was the understudy but if I didn't know I still would be none the wiser. I thought he and the entire company were amazing.

I was just checking the returns for this show and got two £37.50 tickets for the evening performance on Saturday. Very excited to see it again.

Saw this again last night (fourth time). Waylon Jacobs on for Burr, Stephenson Ardern-Sodje on for Laurens/Philip and one of Ash Hunter's last Hamilton shows. First time with the new cast.
While I think this show had the best combination of the male cast I've seen, the chemistry was spot on between all the members of the male principal cast and while I didn't personally warm to Waylon as Burr he worked incredibly well. I would love to see Sifiso again, especially because he is officially "lead". I'm sad Ash Hunter is leaving, for me he gives a better performance of Hamilton. Stephenson is amazing, he brings dimension to John and Philip which is difficult to do and I often find people get one or the other right.
However, whoever cast the Schuyler Sisters wants shot. I still cannot stand Rachelle in her role, but atleast with Christine and Rachel she was bearable. Along side Ava and Courtney I was less than impressed. They're both clearly talented but they don't bring half of what their original cast counterparts bring.
I think they've also changed uo the choreography a little since the last time, there was just little things missing.
DOM HARTLEY-HARRIS? New best thing about the show, if he has his mouth open be prepared to leave your jaw hanging open. The most rapturous applause of the night was after One Last Time and rightfully so.

Hello!
Just booked this with the new tickets today and wondering if any fellow shorter theatregoers (I'm just over 5 foot 1 if the conversion is correct) have sat in Stalls Row G, as I'm a bit paranoid I might have gone a little close. Seems like it should be OK from TheatreMonkey (big fan sir!) but would love to hear anyone's experiences from around that area of seating.
Thanks!

That should be absolutely fine for proximity to the stage and almost a perfect view. Just hope you don’t have any tall people in front which can’t be avoided unless you’re in Row A.

Hi everyone! I've just joined this board as I've been reading this thread for days and have also managed to book to see Hamilton again in April and May, row A centre stalls and row A royal circle. I was row B and row A centre stalls before so am very much looking forward to seeing the revolve and the lights in May, and of course the new cast.

Is there any workaround to be able to buy only one of the 2 seats in the side Royal Circle boxes? Won't let me leave a single seat.

The only option I know of is buying 2 seats and then finding the plus 1. Each time I posted on Facebook smth like "spare Hamilton ticket, face value", it took me less than 10 minutes to find someone.

Anyone know what happens if the card you used to buy has expired. Going next week and still have that card, but will it still work to get the ticket?

My card had been blocked in summer after some ticketmaster problems but I had tickets booked for Dec 31, so I just used it for entering the theatre, and all went well. Will do the same in March as well

You can get in even if you no longer have the card - I had switched banks and cut up my old card, completely forgetting there was still a Hamilton booking using it. I just explained to the ushers on arrival and they sent me to the box office, who happily produced a proper paper ticket after I'd shown ID.

These accidents tut! I fell foul of a couple of row c stalls seats at £79 each. What is this magical hold it has over us?

I "accidentally" booked twice. Once for central front row (£75) and once for the slips (£20 - and which I'm sure will be horrible, but are very cheap).

The view from the slips really isn't great, but if you've seen the show before it won't matter so much. I booked a Grand Circle centre aisle seat (in my opinion the best value tickets in the theatre!) in the April ticket release but have so far resisted for May... Unless it's a special occasion that would justify shelling out for the front row, I can't imagine feeling the need to sit anywhere other than the Grand Circle any time I go back to this show!
