£32 for an hours show is a lot.
Also, the timings, six thirty start means you'll be out at half seven and can't see anything else. If they started earlier you could see another show afterwards.

They're still advertising this at 1 hour 15 minutes, although in practice it's more like 55 minutes, so if it starts on time you could just make a 6:30pm showing of this and a 7:30pm showing of Heathers, but it's incredibly tight. I might risk it sometime, but I hate the idea of joining another show late (even though I know Heather really well, so I wouldn't feel like I'd missed anything).
Even the Sunday performance (6pm) doesn't line up with the two Heathers showings that day (1pm and 5:15pm).

Saw this last night, as others have said it is advertised as 75 minutes but actual run time last night was 57 minutes. Worth it for discounted tickets but I think full price at £32 for less than an hour is a bit steep.
Actually really enjoyed myself though, really like the set design of the studio, very in your face but works great with the piece.
I was put off by the whole standing/ball pit/sitting on the floor element, but there is actually lots of space in the form of 'leaning' platforms, similar to a bus stop seat, which was absolutely fine for me for a show less than an hour.
Stand out performances for me were Hannah, Georgina and Luke Latchman. Some great songs in the mix, and a fun evening, but I don't know how much potential this sort of 'song cycle' has in the long run. But glad I saw it and enjoyed myself.

Nipped back for the 6:30pm performance last night with a very good ticket deal. This is much more polished now than when I saw the first preview (and much less chaotic too).
I was there early, so got a good choice of locations. The ball pool was already taken and I decided against the bath (one lucky person ended up getting the whole bath to themselves and didn't have to share), so I got a prime stool spot. The show was much fuller than last time, so lots of people sat on the floor.
A much better view of the band and the stage too (no poles in the way) and everyone has worked out their moves to avoid any accidents on the trampoline. One possible downside of being in the centre was the lovely Hiba Elchikhe pulling me up to dance, but I make enough of a fool of myself normally anyway.
And finally, to answer the question, can you see this at 6:30pm and Heathers at 7:30pm? Just about! I did mention this to the lovely usher (it's The Other Palace, all the staff are lovely) and he got me up to the back stairs right as the short reprise after the bows finished. So, about 7:28pm. Someone had to let me through the security gate in the wrong direction, but I was in my seat at Heathers by 7:30pm (and there's another minute of grace before this actually starts). You are very dependent on there being no delays to Millennials.
I also spotted someone who sat near me at Millennials being ushered into Heathers about 10 minutes in, so if you hang around, you'll miss the start. Of course, it's possible he might have only decided to buy a ticket after Millennials ended.
The crowd for Millennials seemed a bit older in general than my previous visit as well, but not sure if that means anything. I'd recommend combining with a visit to Heathers if you're there on a Friday or Saturday.

A top poster,Dr Tom,always great to read his views. As for the over-lap,surely even a 15 minute gap between the two productions ending/starting times would be better for stress levels and better for (show) business?

Does anyone know who's replacing Rob and Hiba in this? They're listed as leaving early, though it seems odd to bring replacements in for one week.

Saw this tonight, I’ll start with the positives 😅…
The songs are definitely catchy, well written, enjoyable, and the talent is on a great level. I was entertained and I’ve definitely got some tunes stuck in my head.
BUT, I’m 36 so I guess I’m a millennial right? I just couldn’t relate to this at all though. I don’t know any millennials who dress like the cast do, the set and seating area does not give me millennial vibes, the millennials in the audience looked like they were also giving off “the songs are great but the rest, I just don’t get it” vibes. 90% of the audience were literally all Gen Z and they LOVED it. They related and connected to the show a hell of a lot more than the actual millennials did.
So why not just rebrand it and call it Gen Z’s? I’m sure the songs can still relate as they certainly didn’t relate to me.
BUT, even though I say all this I was definitely entertained for an hour. I sat on the stool directly in the “prime spot” so of course I got picked on a lot. I didn’t hate it, but I was definitely confused 😅. I think if you go in and just try not to take it all too seriously then you’ll enjoy it.

I said the same things to my friend that I went with, I enjoyed it but there was nothing 'Millenial' about it, not even sure if all of the cast fell in that age bracket. So thought they should have called it Twenty-somethings instead and it would have delivered what the title suggested more.

I really enjoyed this tonight. You could put each and every song in this at the climax of an episode of a teen drama and it would make it better. It's a peppy heartwarming short but uplifting show! Some spoilers follow. . . I admit I only booked this cos it was the only show (9pm start) that I could confidently book to turn a Chichester matinee into a two show day lol. But I enjoyed every song, such is the infectious earnestness and enthusiasm of both the songs and performers. The strongest voice was Georgina Onourah, and the way she built her song, "Remember the Feeling," from tender broken hearted marshmallow softness to mighty belted triumph had me bopping in my boomer seat in the Gallery (no way was I gonna risk any kind of interactivity on the lower level lol)! How I wish I'd seen gone to Cinderella one more time just to see her in it! Hannah Lowther had the most moving moment of the show. Her "Masterpiece" is a wonderfully constructed song: the idea of a tender vulnerable person desperate to be validated as a "masterpiece" of creation is tremendously moving, and Lowther really opened up to allow us to feel the wounded gaping hole of yearning that the song so beautifully and repeatedly fills. Rob Madge hit the funniest notes of the night with their song, "Don't be a Dick," (aka Four Little Words), carefully camply overplaying the moments they accused audience members of being "a dick," so as not to genuinely bruise anybody's feelings, and getting bigger laughs for playing it that way. God forbid anyone actually got their feelings hurt in a musical that is all about healing the open wounds of experience! All the players had their moments, from Luke Latchman's self-immolating gentleness to Luke Bayer's infectious buoyant enthusiasm to Kia-Paris Walcot nailing the emotion of "Count my Blessings." Although I couldn't make head nor tail of any narrative throughline, and although the emotional vulnerabilities of the characters have nothing to do with Millennials as such, and although the Avocado stage design references the pointless statistic that Millennials are one percent more likely to report eating avocados than non-Millennials, the fact that these songs are earnest, heartfelt and involving, and so peppily delivered by such an inclusive and inspiring lineup of singers made me end up enjoying this song cycle more than I ever enjoyed "Six" or "Fantastically Great Women who Changed the World," for example. Short and sweet, and the perfect combo with a longer show for a two show day, if you don't want to wear yourself out, but want to go home with a smile on your face. 4 stars from me.

You know what, even after my comments the other day, I feel like I wanna see it again 😅. Purely for the songs, I’ve had most of them stuck in my head for 2 days now. But if I could go and remain out of all the participation part of it then that would be better.
Actually the best result of this would be a cast album.

Hmmm I know all but one, but it feels a slightly older cast this time. Maybe? I don't actually know how old anyone is though so could be talking rubbish.

Ah, the old trick of sticking in a Six Ex-wife that'll get the teenage girls flocking through the doors.

Well I see this show took a leaf out of the Heathers audacious playbook with ‘abridged concert style version’ due to cast illness. Cheeky sign in the foyer exposing this step with ‘however due to the intimacy of the performance you will absolutely enjoy it’ Should they still be charging full price for a cut show which is only an hour 15 at a stretch? I guess at least they’re advertising it as cut. Think Heathers was cut on the regular without audiences being told at all. Thoughts?

It is a special for the Millennials with short attention spans, who will pay a premium for more time to take photos in the ball pool and fewer songs to listen to!
But seriously, glad they were up front about the changes.

All they cut was the choreography, so no one has missed much at all.
To be honest, it would work better for me like this.

Remember the feeling has been appearing on my spotify shuffle for a while now, but never knew it was from this. It sounds so 80's, not a period i think of for Millennials. Has it been covered by Pentatonix yet? That's who i thought it was at first.
