Didn’t see any, everywhere was stripped out, at least with the tables in the restaurant are removed there was a lot more space to stand around before the doors opened.

I understand Chocolate Factory Productions Limited have filed an 'Accelerated possession claim' against 'Persons Unknown' at the High Court.
There is a short hearing this afternoon at 4pm in Court 73 at the RCJ.

It means that the Menier is in dispute with their landlord, my guess is that the landlord wants to redevelop the entire block and the Menier isn't budging. |

If the parties are in the correct order, the application would suggest it's the Menier that is trying to re-posses some of its space.

Yep, whether it's the actual theatre or another space they own remains to be seen. 'Persons unknown' claims are made against tresspassers. An interesting thing about this claim is that it's at the High Court, rather than the county court. At the risk of being very boring... Circumstances which may, in an appropriate case, justify starting a claim in the High Court are if –(1) there are complicated disputes of fact;(2) there are points of law of general importance; or(3) the claim is against trespassers and there is a substantial risk of public disturbance or of serious harm to persons or property which properly require immediate determination.Not surprised the case wasn't covered, there's something like 500 lists published every day for court hearings and it's notoriously difficult to keep an eye on what's going on. |

There was also the smaller theatre there (think it was called The Bunker) underneath but run independently and not by the Menier.

Is anyone else having issues logging into the "new" site? Been seeing productions there for over ten years but my email address is "not recognised"........ Also, does anyone know if the bench seating has been replaced with proper seats?

Super uncomfortable but thankfully only a short play. |

Venues like the Menier can't really have other kind of seating because of the size of said venue.

Another large cast for Pacific Overtures - where do they get their money from? Is the NY revivial of Merrily funding it?
Close up currently has 17 and I'm sure Third man had a similar amount.
When PO was at the Donmar it had a cast of 10. Here it is 17

With Pacific Overtures previewing this weekend, does anyone know when the next season of shows will be announced? We know Baker's Wife is opening in the new year but keen to see what else they have lined up. Too soon for Here We Are?

Mid January and still nothing about what’s happening post-PO… could the show be extended? Definitely want to see it again once more as it’ll probably be another 20 years before the show comes back again
