Why anyone would want to stand fails me except for the cost of the ticket of course. It doesn’t look immersive to me - I sat of course - because I remember in the olden days the immersive or promenade performances as they were called then, in the Cottesloe, as it was named then. They were immersive as you became absorbed by the action. The Julius Caesar they did at the Bridge was more immersive because of the crowd scenes where the people are actually another character so to speak. Midsummer Night’s Dream was probably more immersive for a similar reason maybe. I suppose they think having the staging this way will attract people to it.

Personally, I enjoyed standing because I liked seeing the show up close and feeling part of the action. It's probably just a LITTLE too long but I have no regrets.

I know about the no bag rule in the standing area… but what about a bum bag and / or a bottle of water???

Has anyone seen the track listing? I’m curious to know what the other “several bonus tracks for fans to enjoy” are.

Pleased Marisha's version of Luck Be A Lady is on there - it's a great version to accompany the dance party that happens post curtain call.

Very excited to get to hear this again. Will be wonderful to hear Andrew and Celinde’s Act I duet, and Marisha’s Take Back Your Mink. Plus Sit Down… of course!

Slightly ridiculous for UK CD collectors to have to buy a London cast recording from an American site and pay 17 dollars in postage to receive within two weeks... Yes, I will stream via Tidal but would also like the CD.

Is the plan for this to just keep running it until it runs out of patrons? Or is February a hard exit?

Is the plan for this to just keep running it until it runs out of patrons? Or is February a hard exit? It sounds like they’re hoping for the former on this as it’s a commercial theatre. At least that’s what it sounds like from Nick Hytner on the Making Theatres podcast which was released earlier this week - a really interesting insight to both the architecture and the business model of the Bridge.

Cackling at the new recording having all the Rockin' the Boat encores. Such a deserved showstopper went I went last month.

Listening to the cast recording. I love it already.
Thinking of getting a ticket for Daniel Mays’ return on 16th Oct. Does anyone know if everyone else is scheduled to be on that day/week?

Richardson's not gonna be leaving my ears for the forseeable future. Every bit as pleasant as I remembered.
And getting to hear the Spanish 'I'll Know' lyrics during Havana again!
Weird they chose to end it on INBiL though.

On Tidal it ends on "If I Were A Bell" (Cedric Neal) - the last of three Hi-Hi Boys tracks.

It's a pity that the showstopping quality of "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat" did not translate at all in the album, it's actually one of the less thrilling recordings of the songs I've heard. It was pure joy on stage, dunno what went wrong there

Agree it would have been nice for Rocking The Boat to be live so that you fully got the impact.

Andrew's voice still sounds like butter though, so I'm fine
