I didn't realise that. Either guess work or a conspiracy then? I'll let you know if there is a repeat text this weekend Yes guesswork if you got a text on a Saturday before the show even happened! If it was 4pm Sunday that's different as the result is usually known online by Sunday morning. Yeah not that difficult to get lucky with a guess at this stage |

There have always been shock eliminations and this could well be true this week.
John is a better dancer than Rhys, Dan and Tom. Johannes is one of the best choreographers on the show.
A final without John would feel incomplete. But if this spoiler is true, there is nowt any of us can do about it.
We can but hope that this is not from a reliable source and we will be waving goodbye to Rhys or Tom.

Just seen John eliminated on twitter. That would be sad. Feels unlikely. I think for John to be eliminated, he’d have to be up against AJ or Rose, and I can’t see that happening. |

On My Own makes no sense as a song choice. Particularly for a male celeb. You can't construct the narrative for a contemporary dance duet when the song is about being on your own.
Add into that choreography that was very stop-start and it was never going to work

Three generations of us watching and none of us were taken by Tom’s dance. It didn’t have traction with anyone. Sad but they must really think hard before they go in for these things. Rose nailed it of course. Exception to prove the rule? |

I know Tom wanted a song as a tribute to his sister but surely he should have gone with a more dance friendly musical song? I would have gone for Consider Yourself from Oliver! given he was in it as a kid and also it lends itself to a dance,

They should drop CC and add Street and Contemporary as distinct categories. That way you get rid of the emotional manipulation and can judge purely on technique and performance.

No. Then they'd have an excuse to do even fewer of the core 10 dances. I don't want to watch every couple do both street and contemporary (I'd get rid of Couple's Choice altogether). |

But cc is always wafting about these days. They don't choose a regular dance for cc. So would not affect how many core dances they do. Would it? Imo all of them should do waltz, foxtrot and quickstep and one Latin American which look all the same to me. She ducks behind the sofa.

I think Couple's Choice should only be allowed if you make it to the semi-final. In a normal week, it's a free pass to basically mess about while another contestant is learning proper technical steps, it's unfair.
