Phew, was worried that John wouldn’t get many votes cos he was first and people have short memories. And his didn’t have the wow he usually does. Also Sarah was in danger,no?

Interesting that Sara is clearly getting votes considering she was rubbish tonight.
Adam is wholly overrated in my opinion so not at all bothered by that bottom two. I only care about Rose, AJ and John really, the rest can be eliminated in pretty much any order and I won't complain, as long as the final is those three.

There is always an elimination or two where we see stronger dancers leave and poor dancers not even fall into the dance off
But it is just wrong that Dan is still there. He isn't getting better. He isn't entertaining. But he is tall.

We are just approaching the point where it is embarrassing for the one obviously weak one to be kept in, happens every time. If Dan goes much further it will negate the entire show. You only have to look at the US show people to see how far below the required standard most of the UK people are.

We have this every year though. It’s not just a dance contest it’s a popularity contest. He’s on tv a lot at a time when people are sat about in their nighties looking rough. People presumably feel a connection.
Adam was lovely but he wasn’t going to win it either.

It really doesn't matter unless the weaker dancer goes through at the expense of someone who could actually win.
Adam was never going to win, so the order that he, Dan, Tilly, Sara and even really Tom and Rhys leave the competition is pretty much irrelevant.
The best dancers are AJ, Rose and John, so as long as the final is between them the other eliminations can be in any order and it isn't much of a shock or travesty.

If you believe the reports this week, he is well ahead in terms of public votes. Given McFly has a Strictly winner and IAC winner from the band themselves and his wife won IAC as well, it doesn't surprise me he's doing well with the public. |

There are stories like this every year claiming to have inside knowledge of the voting. I don't tend to give them much credence.
Things like YouTube views and betting patterns are more reliable indicators.
And those are pointing heavily to Rose being the most popular.

I've never been a fan of Dan, but what struck me this week was how much he talked and how little Nadiya spoke. She barely said a word in the pre-dance VT, just listened to Dan mansplaining what football is. Even when Claudia tried to involve her in the post-result chat on Sunday Dan spoke over her (saying how much she talked!). Very odd.
