I loved Rose and Giovanni’s dance - but I can see why Craig didn’t give it a ten. I wish they scored separately for technical difficulty and artistic impression because Craig just ended up looking a bit churlish. It was a proper ‘moment’ (Even more than John’s arms in a vest in rehearsal every week.)
Cannot believe AJ was scored at the bottom.
Why do Dan and Nadiya do that stupid hand dance at the end of every show?

Sara going is a big shame. It was going to happen in the next 3 weeks. But still a shame. The choice of music really did not help. It had no AT feel to it.
I was not surprised at how low AJ scored. She had no Spanish shape. She was ungainly going backwards. And the frock was hideous. The choreo was not strong. Kai's lack of Strictly experience showed this week.

They need to look back on choices of dress. Dull frocks don't get votes. Anything a bit odd doesn’t get votes. I find that blue/green doesn’t come over on the telly box to me. Just me? And music that is set against a trad expectation doesn’t work either. i suppose I’m making it a game but sometimes it is.

He probably has quite a fan base from breakfast tv. He certainly isn't the best dancer, but probably comes across as one of the non performers who is trying his best. Sure he will be out soon.

I think the appeal of Dan Walker is that even though he's on TV and earns lots of £££s, he's perceived as just an ordinary bloke...which he largely is.
He lives in an ordinary suburb in an ordinary city; goes on ordinary dog walks in an ordinary park; has ordinary friends; goes on ordinary holidays in East Yorkshire; eats in ordinary restaurants...all shared with his ordinary followers on social media.

What time do they film Strictly? Anyone else get the Sara text at 4pm Saturday?

What time do they film Strictly? Anyone else get the Sara text at 4pm Saturday? What do you mean what time do they film it? It's live (though I presume on a 5-10 second delay just in case), and the results show is recorded on a Saturday after the vote closes. Most of the pro dances were recorded in the summer though.

They film Sunday's on Saturday night so lots of people know by Sunday morning. I try (and fail) not to look it up each week.

If it was 4pm Sunday that's different as the result is usually known online by Sunday morning.

There have always been shock eliminations and this could well be true this week.
John is a better dancer than Rhys, Dan and Tom. Johannes is one of the best choreographers on the show.
A final without John would feel incomplete. But if this spoiler is true, there is nowt any of us can do about it.
We can but hope that this is not from a reliable source and we will be waving goodbye to Rhys or Tom.
Rose is Still going to win the glitterball whatever happens

Maybe it’s time to reconsider Couples Choice. More often than not they bomb. Also, the minute I see bare feet… 😖

Just seen John eliminated on twitter. That would be sad. Feels unlikely. I think for John to be eliminated, he’d have to be up against AJ or Rose, and I can’t see that happening.

Contemporary did not suit Tom, so it's a little unfortunate he went out on that dance. I feel he may have done better if he had had a jazz or musical theatre style couples choice, but I guess he wanted to do it as a tribute to his sister.

On My Own makes no sense as a song choice. Particularly for a male celeb. You can't construct the narrative for a contemporary dance duet when the song is about being on your own.
Add into that choreography that was very stop-start and it was never going to work

Tom’s dance was very poor. However I still think Dan should have gone

Three generations of us watching and none of us were taken by Tom’s dance. It didn’t have traction with anyone. Sad but they must really think hard before they go in for these things. Rose nailed it of course. Exception to prove the rule?

I know Tom wanted a song as a tribute to his sister but surely he should have gone with a more dance friendly musical song? I would have gone for Consider Yourself from Oliver! given he was in it as a kid and also it lends itself to a dance,
