I couldn't see a thread for this but an extra performance has now been added at 2pm on the Sunday as the other 4 have sold out.

Yep grabbed some seats today for the new Sunday matinee. Will be interesting to see if they do fully staged excerpts as opposed to stand at mike and sing! Looks like a great line up though
So from an empty calendar I now have booked
Songs for a new World Sunset Boulevard La Voix Sondheim Concert at Chichester Magic goes wrong Jimmy Carr Delroy

Yes, I booked for this too. Praise the lord for the Nimax booking algorithm, single seats basically anywhere! Sadly this is the first thing I've booked that I suspect may not be able to go ahead, but I'm keeping everything crossed as I need some live belting in my life!

Mind you Soutra Gilmour is the designer and her theatre designs are very theatrical you we can expect anything. There is also a video designer so think its going quite an event. Might be wrong but as this is the first major west end musical event I think everyone will really go for it big time. There will be tears before bedtime!!!

I’m thrilled that I’ve been able to book this the same day as six. If all goes to plan my first 2 show day in 8 months!

do you think they're holding back some seats because it has sold so quickly and I was trying to find the restricted view seats in the front of the stalls

do you think they're holding back some seats because it has sold so quickly and I was trying to find the restricted view seats in the front of the stalls I booked as soon as they went on sale yesterday and from what I could see with the seating plan pretty much everything that could be sold with social distancing was on sale. Saying that there seemed to be a block in the centre of the stalls that was not available or maybe already sold but those would have been premium seats. Don't remember the boxes being on sale either.

Gosh this sold out quickly. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time to bag some tickets!
Deffo an appetite for it. I wonder if they'll turn it into a longer running thing?!

Is this before Jimmy Carr's little residency? There is obviously an audience for shows! I know that the economics don't work but really glad things are starting to happen (and even gladder I got a ticket!)

Pleased that the Sunday matinee came along or I’d have been disappointed. I can’t wait for this, although if CFA do ‘Welcome To The Rock’ I’ll be good for nothing afterwards. I find it so emotional however uplifting it may be.
NB: It’d be great to get some sneaky peaks of Frozen, Cinderella, BTTF and even Hope Mill’s ‘Rent’ at this.

I'm already booked for the Saturday but thrilled to bits about the extra dates for the casts and everyone involved. Just shows how much we want to get back to the theatre.

Cast and shows also announced. All 16 of the shows whose logos appear on the merchandise will be performing and some stellar names. Also a new opening number written by Stiles and Drew.

What's On Stage have posted initial casting this morning. We can probably figure out a lot of the songs based on who's appearing. It's mostly one or two people from each cast, as to be expected.
Aisha Jawando in a performance from Tina – The Tina Turner Musical Sam Tutty in a performance from Dear Evan Hansen Layton Williams in a performance from Everybody's Talking About Jamie Collette Guitart and Hana Stewart in a performance from SIX (the pair will perform on select dates each) Gavin Spokes in a performance from Hamilton Dom Simpson and Tom Xander in a performance from The Book of Mormon Helen Woolfe and Laura Pick in a performance from Wicked Tilly-Raye Bayer, Imogen Cole, Alyssa D'Souza, Alex Munden and Carly Thoms in a performance from The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical. Jordan Luke Gage will perform a number from & Juliet Shan Ako and Frances Ruffelle in a performance from Les Misérables cast members in a performance from Disney's The Lion King Christine Allado and Alexia Khadime in a performance from The Prince of Egypt Alice Fearn in a performance from Come From Away Holly-Anne Hull and Rhys Whitfield in a performance from The Phantom Of The Opera Zizi Strallen in a performance from Mary Poppins Mazz Murray in a performance from Mamma Mia!
There will also be a choir of 16 which is made up of Musical Theatre 2020 graduates. To accompany the event, hit composer duo Stiles and Drewe have penned a new track, The Show Must Go On!, to celebrate the theatre community during these times.
Jordan is an odd choice for & Juliet - Romeo doesn't really have a full solo. He sings an abridged version of Love Me Like You Do so maybe they'll get him to do a full version of that, or if this is "initial" casting maybe there's more to go and we'll get one of the Juliets joining him for One More Try.
Six are presumably doing Heart of Stone based on it being the easiest to do solo and the two actresses listed (the alt and second cover Jane Seymour). Knowing Six's history though, I won't be surprised if they end up having to pull out of one or more performances because they need both Hana and Collette on stage at the Lyric!

Great selection of shows, just a shame some of them can't do the bigger ensemble pieces (Hamilton especially - King George is funny but by no means the best part of the show).
Tina - my guess is The Best given she doesn't have any listed backing singers (unless they are just using the choir and she is doing River Deep Mountain High)
Dear Evan Hansen - Waving Through a Window
Hamilton - You'll Be Back
Wicked - could be Defying Gravity, For Good, Popular or What is This Feeling, but I suspect it's For Good.
Les Misérables - are they doing On My Own as a duet?
Lion King - presumably Circle of Life
Prince of Egypt - I'm guessing this is When You Believe
Come From Away - has to be Me and the Sky
Phantom Of The Opera - presumably All I Ask of You
Mamma Mia - could be several things but possibly The Winner Takes it All?

Does this mean I’m not getting ‘Welcome To The Rock’ then? Do we think the choir will oblige?

So it’s basically an indoor West End Live that you get to sit down for? I can’t wait, then Six the next weekend. I’m still wondering why Frozen, Cinderella & BTTF aren’t sending people to showcase future product. Really pleased to see ‘Prince of Egypt’ on the bill highlighting their faith in the project and it’s return. Obvs the big hitters will be back, but great to see producers faith in something relatively new.

I read that the 16 shows performing are the 16 logos on their merchandise which is probably why the new shows are not being featured.
