Southwark Playhouse have cancelled their shoes, I’m keeping mine on credit as I do hope that ‘Indecent Proposal’ gets a run next year, it’s all such a shame Shoes? Is it going all bare feet now? I've got all of my PAYG tickets yo use as my last 2 shows there were cancelled.

Harry Potter suspension extended to February 21 The German production has just moved its opening night to April 2021, more than one year after the originally planned opening. We all said how daring it was to move it to October 2020 originally, when all other shows only cancelled shows for a few weeks or 2 / 3 months. Same as people said in May/June it was impossible NOT to have Pantos this year. Just shows: we know nothing, especially not when and if shows will return on any given date.

The Lion King West End and tour now closed until 'Spring 2021'... If that means March, that will be a whole year closed in London.

Hmmm, though unsurprising, another big gun cancelling until Spring is suboptimal Once is too cold for the current flurry of outdoor stuff, and of course the numbers rise again, think we are in for a long harsh Winter!

Such a depressing thread. Wishing everyone in the performing arts - whatever your job - all the very best.

With The Lion King no longer happening, the Palace Theatre Manchester is now set to be dark until 28 April 2021. 😔

52 year anniversary then. The Cure did the last one, maybe headlined by the Vaccines?

No details and no update from Bridge Theatre but I just got refund from TodayTix for John Gabriel Borkman. Hardly unexpected. I see Bridge Theatre has it still listed and some later dates but I do assume it's all off.

Just last week realised browsing my calendar, that I have in fact 1 more ticket for London: John Gabriel Borkman, which I booked ages ago. It is still listed on the website, but I doubt it can go ahead or if it does, socially distanced, which means lots of tickets will have to be cancelled. I wouldn't want to go to London in any case, so just curious what will happen with it.

I had a cancellation email from the Bridge last week for that.
It’s feels so odd to be talking about confirmed cancellations as if we’re not sure whether things will be cancelled or not. I am just assuming everything is cancelled until the summer right now.

I had a cancellation email from the Bridge last week for that. Still haven't heard anything, though there is no info about the production on their website, you can still buy tickets, February 18th Press Night and then from March 1st on...weird.

No rush really. It is all more theoretical and relaxed than last year's ticket refunds. Haven't been to a theatre in 14 months and the concept gets more and more abstract by the month.
