Not impressed by Jennas casting , but glad this is happening.
A bit concerned that with it only being a 30 week season, and David Ian producing- it’s going to be a pretty basic production.

30 weeks which is my wonky maths is correct means it’s about a 7 month run, on par with both Gypsy and Sweeney Todd.
Makes me wonder if LW/Nederlander have something that will take in March or April 2021

I don't know I rather like the logo! seems very retro, I Love Lucy-esque. How much of the production is designed by the recent broadway revival team, or is it an original revival?
Either way, very exciting for summer 2020, hopefully it will be a wonderfully fabulous production and that they include the walk round the orchestra!!!

Wasn't this meant to be in October, I'm guessing they had to move it up two months due to Imelda being cast in The Crown.

Meh. Wasn't as excited as I thought I was going to be. Jenna Russell, meh. The creative team just seems like Follies 2.0

How much of the production is designed by the recent broadway revival team, or is it an original revival? Sets and costumes by the lovely Rae Smith - so completely new for this production. (Vicki Mortimer designed Follies )

no no no no..NO! I feel like I'm being punished. Is the internet trolling me with this news? Brits can't be left alone to do a classic American musical comedy. Why does London insist on making Imelda and Sharidan Smith their musical theatre queens? Jenna Russell..again, no.

Jeez. JR AGAIN? Lame, boring and completely uninspired casting. Imelda - can see her obvious choices already.

What makes someone eligible for priority booking today when it was only announced last night? There seems to be nowhere to sign up for priority booking- unless it’s LW Theatre subscribers only?
