Oh there’s someone else! I don’t really drink much any more, but back in my uni days (all of 5-8 years ago) when I did used to get quite drunk, I never had a hangover. I’m just tired, which is expected given that I’ll have had less sleep than normal (I’m an early bird, even after a late night) Wow. Hello my fellow hung under drinker. Let us sit upon the grass and lace daisies in each other's hair. Actually let's not, I hate sitting on grass. I don't suppose we also share the asparagus and caffeine things as well? Can’t say I’ve ever tested the asparagus, but I’ve never felt like caffeine has any particular effect on me either. As someone who works in genetics, I find this very interesting. I know all of these things have been linked to genetics in some way, and now I’m wondering if it’s the same or interacting genes at play influencing these, or if they’re entirely separate. Time for some reading!

I've never left a play or musical in the interval - although I've been tempted. I like to get my money's worth. I've never eaten frogs' legs (although I have eaten snails.)I was put off when someone said they tasted like Kentucky Fried chicken. Plus I never received the TheatreBoard badge I ordered even though my payment went through.

Sorry if this is getting repetitive but ...
Never seen GoT - even though I've just come back from a holiday in N. Ireland and visited many of the areas where it was filmed. By sheer chance my last holiday was to Dubrovnik so I'm now pretty over rubbing shoulders with Americans doing the GoT tour.
Never seen a James Bond film either in the cinema or on TV. Never been to a football/cricket/rugby match Never been to Royal Ascot even though I have lived only 2 miles from the race course for around the last 35 years Never seen/read anything to do with Harry Potter Never been to Cornwall (but I've been to Devon countless times.) Never been skiing Never smoked although I'm of an age where virtually all the rest of the family and all my friends were lighting up constantly Never taken drugs

This is intended as a sort of cousin to the Theatre Amnesty and maybe less so the Show I Wish I'd Seen threads, but is more closely related to the radio/TV show Never Seen Star Wars. It's a chance to release into the world your statements of well-known stuff - films, TV shows, plays - you've never seen, books you never read, things you've never done. By which I mean, I suppose, 'big' things - never been in or on the sea, never been to a different country, never eaten Chinese food, whatever. Rather than e.g. I can say I've never seen Henry Kissinger wrapping tagliatelle around a bollard, nor have I ever laid in a bath-tub of marmalade (though I suspect some of you may have seen or done either of those, or variations of them). I mean stuff more like, real ones of mine, I've never seen Citizen Kane, nor have I ever been to the US. No way

Talking of theatreboard badges, I've naughtily never worn mine (which was the point in it right?). I got it, put it in my rucksack, never dared putting it on my bag as had been my intention. Now it's somewhere in a drawer where I think it will stay, sorry badge.

When I was SmallPaul, my favourite thing in the world was listening to my grandparents wartime stories. I'm thankful every day, but today I'm especially thankful that I've never done anything remotely brave or heroic. Not because I couldn't (I hope I could), but because I haven't had to.
As the Queen herself said yesterday, that generation really were cut from a different cloth.

My grandfather died last week, he learnt to fly spifires but was never in combat, I regret now we never talked about it when he was well enough. We're not a family but talks but should have overcome that.

For him to have been able to have flown in such a magnificent aircraft as a Spitfire is a memory to cherish.

Oh come now, must we blame Theresa May for everything?? At work we recently joked about mini mental statement tests. What month is it? What's your date of birth? Who is the current prime minister... Can't blame anyone for failing the last question

Apparently American paramedics are perfectly happy to accept "oh dear god no" when asking suspected concussion patients who the current president is.

My grandad was in a submarine for D-Day (on his 22nd birthday!) and I'd love to hear more about it but only really learned of what he did after he was gone.

Never seen Game of Thrones either but that seems quite common. To expand on it, never seen a single thing on any pay TV channel. Never seen a minute of Friends, Seinfeld, Little Britain, Peep Show, The Thick of It, Absolutely Fabulous, Vicar of Dibley. Never been to Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Never been skiing. Never been on a motorbike. Can’t tell you the name of any of the Queen’s great-grandchildren. Never had a Facebook account. Or Instagram. Never said the word “Uni” or “Veggie”. Never been to a party.
