According to my LW account I’m no longer going to Cinderella or BTTF. Frozen is listed as my next show with them.

I think that they are taking the mickey. You booked a front row seat. The price is irrelevant. I’m quite sure that the t&c’s cover them but it really sucks that they aren’t doing more to give people what they booked. I’m going next Wednesday and STILL have tickets. Just got the email. Sadly I’ve also been moved from the spinning front dance floor to the front of the circle. Still, I’m VERY glad I’m still going to the ball. See you all there!

So is it right that some people are having their seats cancelled despite the fact that there are tickets (more expensive ones obvs) on sale for the very same performance? Well my 3 seats at 39.50 each are now a 4 at 105 each. That's a bit galling. Glad I took the refund. Must admit, it doesn't seem particularly favourable to loyal/early bookers.

I got my ticket through, although it claims I'm attending on 13 June. I presume it still be honoured for tomorrow.

I still don't know what's happening with my tickets next Thursday. However, according to the seating plan which was showing for this weekend, my seats (side of row B of front rotating block) are still in the plan. So they may still keep me in them I guess. But, as I only paid £19.50 each for them (dynamic!) if they move or cancel me then I guess they just want more money. But I wonder what my argument would be if the seats are still in place/aren't removed?

Not Cinderella, but I’ve just seen on Todaytix that the seats directly next to us at Heathers on Saturday are on sale. Nice to have something else to fret about. 🙄
NB-No longer the case. It is sold out now, when earlier on practically the whole dress circle was available.

Was just wondering if anyone has heard anything from TodayTix on seat cancelations etc? Still waiting to hear from them for this (15th July) and Be More Chill (14th July). I’m expecting to lose it as it was a £35 single seat ticket during the offer and sounds like these are the first to be cancelled. Already resigned myself that I’ll miss Cinderella on this trip and catch Pippin instead.

So what’s the sitch now? Are they ‘selling out’ the socially distanced performances?

So what’s the sitch now? Are they ‘selling out’ the socially distanced performances? I think it’s more that the ones that people are not taking up are being re-sold. Still socially distanced seating.

Big day for Cinders! Poll is open for people who see the show to give us their star rating. Just go to the top of the page and vote. Do leave us a review as well but beware of spoilers especially as we’ve been promised a “twist” 😲. Instructions on how to post a spoiler are in FAQ 10 here.

I suddenly remembered that Tom MacRae was originally the lyricist for this. Does anyone know what happened with him?

I’m more excited for the front section auditorium revolve and spinning seat section than the show! Ha

Has anyone had an update regarding their booking who booked through See Tickets and not LWT? Am booked for Thursday but as yet nothing though according to the seating plans on LWT my seats no longer exist with the social distancing in place?

As excited as I was, I decided not to go in the end because I was not prepared to be worrying about masks and social distancing when at the time I booked the ticket, those rules were supposed to have been scrapped by now. So I asked for a refund and got the money back in my account today. It's disappointing not being able to go but I half expected it the whole time anyway, and I knew I just wasn't going to enjoy myself so I've saved the money but more importantly the stress and will hopefully go if regulations are loosened later on.
Reading about all the chaos with everyone else's booking and extra seats being put on sale when it feels like there should still be more distancing I feel I've made the right choice.
I just wish the cast album would hurry up and come out but I see they've deleyaed it again until 9th July so that's annoying as hell...can't see any reason for them to hold off the release once the previews have started, after all the delays they've had already.

Can I ask what it is about masks and social distancing that people don't want to partake in?
I know it's a pain, but we should realistically think that masks are likely going to be a requirement (or at the very least strongly advised) for at least the rest of 2021...

I understand how people may not like wearing a mask, but it’s not some great hardship to have to wear one. And if social distancing means you don’t have the back of someone’s head blocking your view then that’s a huge plus as far as I’m concerned.

If your like me and spend 8+ hours a day in a mask, I think still having to wear one on what’s meant to be a leisurely activity can be a bit of an off put. Days Off are essentially ‘Mask Free’ days to me at the moment. Tonight I’m back to the theatre with Hairspray in Plymouth, I’ve booked for a performance on my day off just so I can have a relaxing day without the mask and then hopefully only have it on for 3 hours at most.
