I was due to go next Tuesday 29 June - three tickets for the moving section row B. I was re-seated to Row K left side yesterday, and rejected the new seats and asked for a refund. Reason being I am due to see it anyway on 13th July and only booked the moving section because the price was cheap at the time. In terms of rights for like-for-like seats, I guess they'd be willing to bump you to the same seats many weeks or months ahead, but not obliged to (particularly if it gets good reviews and becomes a hot ticket). Looks to me like they are sorting out the groups, 3's and 2's and 1's are being dropped in around the larger groups. Reckon if you're a single, you might have to wait a little longer for confirmation.

I'm not going until 9th July but I'm fully expecting to be moved as I'm a single ticket. But I've booked aisle seat due to medical reasons and if I don't get aisle then I won't be able to go.

Just had a cancellation email through for my tickets for Tuesday.
Disappointing but also frustrating that they’re fobbing me off with a credit voucher or refund. I’d also grabbed a couple of “Ball” tickets at the front while they were cheap during previews and the credit voucher will only get me vastly inferior seats.
I sympathise but a strongly worded email will be heading their way.

The penultimate title sounds rather intriguing

There's a short clip of it on Instagram — I think I linked to it w few pages back. I hope the last one's good. I'll be measuring it against The Slipper and the Rose.

For Wednesday just had my two row M seats moved (booked them separate but they were next to each other) - one to circle one to back row of stalls. I could no longer make that date and Mum wasn't fussed about going if she was sat apart from my dad so have opted for a refund for one of them and my dad is going to sit in the circle seat. Going to rebook asap for a date I can do - I'm curious if any of the socially distanced performances will go back on sale.

You can see what the socially distanced seating layout looks like.

My front row £19.50 ticket has been moved to row S of the stalls. Still good value for the price I guess but looks like a fair way back

So is it right that some people are having their seats cancelled despite the fact that there are tickets (more expensive ones obvs) on sale for the very same performance?

I think that they are taking the mickey. You booked a front row seat. The price is irrelevant. I’m quite sure that the t&c’s cover them but it really sucks that they aren’t doing more to give people what they booked.

I’m quite sure that the t&c’s cover them but it really sucks that they aren’t doing more to give people what they booked. They don’t know what matters more to someone. The date that they booked or the seat that they booked. I think their number one priority is to to try and keep you on the same date as you may have booked train tickets or hotels etc. I know for me personally I was more concerned about still going on Friday as I wanted to be at the first preview plus I had booked train tickets so moving my seat wasn’t a bit concern for me. But I appreciate that some people book particular seats for a reason and may not care what date they get moved to to keep that seat. It must be quite difficult for the box office staff to figure this all out.

So is it right that some people are having their seats cancelled despite the fact that there are tickets (more expensive ones obvs) on sale for the very same performance? That is exactly what's happened for me. Tickets for Tuesday 29th cancelled. Seats a few spaces away are now up for sale at 3 X what I paid. I've just hastily rebooked some seats in the dress circle at the group rate (so it was covered by my credit voucher) to get my foot in the door and am now awaiting a call back from the box office to sort this mess out. Absolutely disgraceful.
