Someone in a tree I found when I was on the first page, showing the performance dates, the prices showed full price but when I clicked on the date I wanted a number of seats showed up as green circles with white stars in & those were the seats available to select as lottery tickets. (The seats not available as lotter ticket showed up as faded yellow circles that weren't clickable.) I didn't have to enter any code.

Does anyone have any feelings about if this show will extend again? I know they have extended once to the 19th August but wondering if it might extend further and if so when we could find out?
I do find it very ironic that this show has best ticket availability on Friday/Saturdays but given those are the most expensive days, it's not surprising. I am suprised I've not seen the show appear on other platforms for sale too such as Todaytix or even the booth in Leicester Square, does anyone know why? It's a shame as it would be another way for them to get more tickets sold

Thanks Dawnstar thats very helpful. I think I'm going to pass (which I may regret) combo of not great seats available (upper circle for such a small show that was percect at southwark) and the dates are a bit tight with me. I can fwd the email with the link in to anyone wants it. Perhaps wise to only fwd it to the first person who pms me though.

Was starting to worry that the prohibitively expensive tickets were going to stop me from seeing this, so can only add to the thanks to those on here who suggested the lottery! Won on my first entry and had no problem picking up a front row dress circle seat for mid-June. Really looking forward to this!
Still can’t understand the pricing with this. So many tickets were yet to sell for upcoming performances.

Given how many of us seem to be winning the lottery, they must be selling off quite a few tickets as lottery ones. Which I suppose is one way of effectively amending their pricing strategy without having to publically change it.

Question for anyone who’s seen the show since officially opening: The grid lighting on the back wall, is this still ONLY used in the second half? I saw the show twice in Previews (now seen it 5 times in total) and found it really strange that it wasn’t used at all in the first half. I get the logic of “saving it” for the element of surprise but that logic doesn’t work for me when you see it used in subtle ways throughout the 2nd half, ultimately it’s a visual language. E.g a simple vertical line to divide the space showing 2 locations on a phone call. I assumed that since it was in Previews that the first half’s lighting hadn’t been finished? Can anyone confirm how it’s used now / if it’s used throughout the show now or just the 2nd half? This was my issue with the show too. It was obvious the set pieces flying and flies and grid lighting was ONLY used in the last 10 minutes of the show. They should have started on an open stage or something. It generally looks like it has no set really until the last few minutes. That’s not worth 80 pounds. It looked too fringy and studenty until the end. Needs work. That aside (and being too long) it’s excellent!

Like other posters I'm not sure I will be able to take advantage but I have only just seen it.

And do they have the necessary working relationships/desire to get discounted tickets on there? We know the producers are an outfit that usually does stand up comedy, and so maybe they don't quite understand the ecology?

They’ve likely hired a general manager who is well-versed in all things West End. It’s likely a conscious choice to make people believe that it’s selling better than it is so that people will pay full price

I've yet to win the lottery for this (although obviously hoping that changes soon).

Won the lottery today! Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any lottery seats actually allocated on days I can go, and the days they are allocated its only for the back rows of the balcony - I'm at the point now where even for £25 I'm not interested in sitting in those seats. I’d rather pay more for a better view, but when there’s nothing between £25 and £80 I just feel like there’s nothing that seems like value for money for me.
It is an odd pricing policy isn’t it. I do have one Monday in July I could go and I think I’m just going to do that.

Extended again to 23rd September. I assume doing short 5-6 week extensions is easier to gauge demand, but hopefully will continue to run and run!

Great news and I'm really happy for them! I'm now finally able to see promo seats on the ATG website, but it appears to be the same as the regular price. What gives?

I wish they'd be bold and extend to like...January, because evidently they're doing ok on their STUPID pricing structure if they're continuing to extend.
This 4-5 weeks every month is gonna get real tiresome really quickly to some...

This 4-5 weeks every month is gonna get real tiresome really quickly to some... Agreed - I've seen the show a couple of times on this run and have a few more performances booked in because I absolutely love it. Both me and my husband won the lottery last week so I managed to book tickets for the last performance at £25 each, but now they've extended I no longer have tickets for closing night, and can't afford to pay £80 for the new closing night tickets!

ATG let you move your tickets to another date if it’s more than 24 hours notice.

I was put off by the price but then all the five-star reviews here...hmmm maybe I should just hang tight on the lottery for a few more weeks

What’s the anagram for the lottery code word? I’m sure I read it here, but can’t find it!

I wanted 10th June & that was the last date available. How very odd that they're showing different date availability to different people.

Got to see Holly Sumpton on for Jean on Thursday evening. Was very strange not seeing Claire-Marie Hall after so many times of seeing the OG cast - but she put in a brilliant shift.
Especially so soon after covering the Monty track several nights in a row. A very talented young woman.

Does anyone know how many tickets for each show are allocated to lottery? Quite some people here seems to have got it (but not me - yet!)
