Yes I'm with @baemax I've always found ticket buying far easier when I've been in a full time office job- leave the tabs open while you work, and then do a quick transaction when you're in. And if not, well you haven't lost anything cos you're sat there anyway. ...and if you don’t have an office job and actually have to do stuff? Not sure what the point is? We were all just saying that is an advantage of a certain situation?

Oops, forgot all about this today. Oh well. Same, came back from Lunch to all the excitement...twitter reports say loads of tickets (unsurprisingly really) when people actually get in, so perhaps everyone can stand down a bit!

Then that's very unfortunate and I'm sorry, but your schedule doesn't mean that Delfont Mackintosh's booking methods are aimed squarely at teenagers, just as I recognise that my schedule doesn't automatically reflect your schedule. I expect they put tickets on sale at this time of day and in the way they do because that way they have the best staffing availability to answer queries or keep the website upright or even answer telephone calls (just because they're not selling over the phone right now doesn't mean they won't have people calling; when I've booked very popular DM productions and my payment hasn't gone through, I've always been given a reference and told to ring them to finish it up). Nothing personal, just business.

Sorry but that comment about booking times being fairer to teenagers is actually hilarious. Most of them will be in school or university or similar, surely? Agreeing with everyone else commenting re office jobs, unless I'm in meetings I'm able to have tabs open and keep an eye out but work in the mean time. This is how all on sales work, no time is going to be perfect for everyone. 🙄

I just got through on the link I'd opened on my laptop after a "2 and a half hour wait" which was actually 80 minutes (I'd bought earlier from my phone so only out of interest) and Saturday's have sold well, but still loads of great availability during the week and Fridays. Thankfully for me I'd got in earlier at 12:30 as I can only do Saturday's and work in a school so can't take time off to get to London, so I'd be a bit downtrodden now. However if you have some flexibility you can get great seats for this right now.

It took 80 mins for me from receipt of link email to getting into booking site. Not much left for first preview on 29th October but appears to be lots of availability otherwise

Very glad I remembered about this on my break this morning, all done and dusted in less than five minutes, it’s times like this I’m glad I got myself DMT+. Went for a grand circle slip seat closest to the main seat block for the first preview.

Got the e-mail at 12.15 and got in at 2pm. Got 3 Grand Circle slips for the first Friday for £15 each with fee. 1 slip seat left for that day.

Got through after 2 hours. Checked a few early dates for seat I wanted but not available so opted for aisle stalls for 4th preview. All went well until I couldn't remember my password and I wouldn't let me do it as new member as e mail already registered. Had to request new password and by the time it came through I'd been timed out and was time to go home so I'll try again when I get home.

That was more stressful than Hamilton!
Took me 95 minutes from clicking on the link when it arrived to getting and every Saturday night is sold out. I’ve booked two in the Royal Circle for Friday 8th so I’m really chuffed I’ve got in early, but that wasn’t a pleasant experience!

Not sure it’s been mentioned either but I had to tick to confirm about bringing ID and the payment card used to the box office so not sure if they’re operating a similar ticketing policy to Hamilton?

Got through the queue again and picked up a slips ticket for December (the queue is moving faster now). Taking a risk that I'll enjoy it enough to go back as I haven't seen the show before.

Took me about an hour to get in (though the queue had said two hours) after getting my link about 12:05. Loads of tickets left, couldn't get the seat I wanted on the day I wanted, but could have had the one two to the left. I didn't want that so changed days and got the one I wanted - A25 Royal Circle. Furthest from the side without hitting premium, which I won't pay. That'll do.

Any idea why the 4 slip seats closest to the stage in the upper circle are not on sale today Normally due to them not being sure if lighting / speakers is going to be put there or in sight lines. Thank you

It might be how they’ve worked in your very short window of ticket buying experience but even up to about five years ago gig tickets used to go onsale on weekend days to maximise the amount of people available to buy them. The teenagers that I know (ie my own) would have their phones on them or find some way to get on them when they needed to, but I congratulate you on your studiousness. 😘

My link has only just come through - after 3pm. And the queue is showing as 2 1/2 hours from now.
Yes, I get that you need to join an online queue, etc. But they should have given everyone an equal start by getting all emails out on time. As it was, it was a total shambles

Yeah, noticed that last year when I booked for Company and The Inheritance. Didn't ask me to see it at box office though. Actually I've never been asked to produce ID/card in any venue (except, you know, when I've seen Hamilton). Sometimes they have asked me random questions, like what's your postcode, or what's your phone number.

Well back home, changed password and logged on. Back to 2.5 hours again. I thought the queue would have died down. Ah well that's the next 3 hours taken up.
