The show was predictable and bland. SBJ and Sontana were expecting it and had a "oh, you better American Theatre Wing" look and tone. Rachel Chavkin, Andre DeShield, Ali Stoker and the Boys in the Band had moments that were real. But the best moment was one that wasn't televised, and it was this:

According to CBS Hadestown tickets sales rose 1300% after last night! WOW! The Tony effect in full swing!!!! Do you have a link? I'm not seeing that anywhere except the Jakarta Post. Not that I don't believe you... |

Was playing fine for me earlier, and when I posted it here.
It was CBS Sunday Morning, like a Tony round-up/review. And towards the end of the VT, Gayle King and the rest of the reporters discussed the night; and the special correspondent said that sales of have 1300% this morning.
