The Liverpool Echo have an article about this at: www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/rocky-horror-show-cancelled-mid-12039949There's not much more info beyond vaguely referring to those pesky "technical difficulties" and an "incident", although one theatregoer did offer this fascinating insight into the evening's events: I believe that's what's referred to, in theatrical circles, as an interval! Hope everyone connected to the show is okay.

Tonight's performance is on apparently. Spokesperson from the Empire denied the rumour that the cancellation was due to the drummer falling ill.

Has anyone seen Georgia May Foote in this whilst it's at Oxford?
Really like her, loved her in Corrie and so pretty! Is she a good singer at all because I'd like to see her in more musicals in the future!

Has anyone seen Georgia May Foote in this whilst it's at Oxford? Really like her, loved her in Corrie and so pretty! Is she a good singer at all because I'd like to see her in more musicals in the future! Good timing! Just saw the show tonight for the 2nd time after seeing it previously in Birmingham on its last tour. It was fabulous - Rocky Horror is not my favourite show but it was very entertaining and a great laugh. Georgia May was a lovely Columbia. Very sweet sounding voice and very very hyper! Tapped a little bit but not as much as I remember the Columbia last time...and she's very attractive in the role too! The remaining cast were all fabulous and were obviously preparing for the end of the tour. Very high energy and great responses to the audience participation. Great riffs too here and there! Charlie Condou (Marcus from Corrie...yummy!) made the show and was hilariously funny as the Narrator. SO much better than Ainsley Harriott who I saw previously!! Shame the tour is ending but I'm sure it will return very soon once again!!

I try to catch this a couple of times every tour. I am hoping they redo this production, new set etc . I love current one but I am ready for something new ! I wouldn’t be against it going back to the good old pantomime sort of version back from when chis Malcolm used to direct, just for a turn before going back to its original dark roots ! Time to lose some chub, nobody needs a bulging frank!

Now that ATG aren't in full control of the rights, the next tour will play non-ATG venues that it hasn't visited for years. So hopefully some re-ignited interest from 'fans' who haven't been able to see it in their local non-ATG venue for ages. The last tour played Cardiff New Theatre twice though and that's not ATG.

Aren't they already on sale? I bought mine for Wimbledon more than 2 weeks ago.

Has this tour been cast yet? A recent Instagram story from a certain actor had the script open on a page with brads lines clearly emphasized . The music for "once in a while" was also open. I assume he was auditioning for the part.

I hadn't heard of Oliver Ormson before, but from looks alone (shallow, I know) he looks like he'd make a great Brad.
Can you tell us whose Insta it was, @theatrefan01?

Has anyone heard anything about a cast announcement yet? I’m just guessing but I think Ben Adams could be doing this, probably as Brad.

I haven't seen anything on the TimeWarp official fan club site, nor the various social media accounts that seem to get casting information pretty quickly... hopefully news will come soon. Gutted that the RO'B concert we weren't allowed to talk about has fallen through.
I loved the last UK cast, but I'm excited for something new. I'd really love to see a new staging, but I suspect we'll get another outing of the "party" set. Either way, Rocky Lives, which keeps me happy!

Hello again - I see the RO'B concert thread has been locked, but to confirm your suspicions @theatremonkey & @remark, the announcement on the website is that the concert has been cancelled. TimeWarp themselves had nothing to do with the concert or its cancellation though, they were just helping promote it.
Very sad, I've booked a weekend in London for Company on Saturday and had planned that for Sunday. I was hoping I could soften the blow a little and book for Heathers instead, but they don't do Sundays. I'll have to do non-theatre things instead... the very idea!!

For those expecting e refund I wouldn’t discuss the cancellation until you get your money back if I were you - read the announcement on Timewarp.
We’re going to West End Bares instead as it’s always been on my bucket list and I was gutted that they clashed
