Yes that wasn't a satisfying end, the supposeded hook to the next series, much better a thoughtful docor and leave it there.
plus wasn't it clear from the start who was going to end up saving the day?
and those cybermen were terrible shots, people running straight ahead of you in a straight line and you still don't hit any of them?
